West LA is a fairly clean and classy place though, so it's not like guys are walking around with assless chaps and shouting, "Hey there girlfriend!" to each other. Would've run the hell out of there if it was. You do see LOTS of pastel colors though. I did feel a bit uncomfortable, but that had more to do with being in a place where everyone was gay except me than the place being loud or flamboyant.

Of course, it being a classy place also means the rent is ridiculously high, which means that as a young guy you would either need roommates (which could be a huge pain) or some older, rich boyfriend.

Haha no, Scotland is extremely progressive (very left wing) and good for da ****s. I live near the capital city Edinburgh, but my parents own lot of land just outside of it, so I'm just used to peace and quiet.
