I will say I guess I do give into the fear a little bit because I do have it conceal when I go to a movie theater so eh.

However its one of the few that allow that so if you're going to shoot up a theater i doubt you would come there.

Tons of people carry duffel bags at my current gym, mix of powerlifting/olympic lifting gym. Not so much at my old commercial one

I leave my stuff in my unlocked locker including car keys, dont live in a poverty country to worry about people stealing my stuff at the gym

Ive never seen someone carry a bag at my gym while working out lmao

no i leave my chit in my fukking car like a normal person.
i keep my clothes and misc in a drawstring and leave that chit with my keys near the entrance on top of cubbies
then i hook up my phone to the BT speakers and leave my phone at the front desk
everything i need is provided by the gym and anything i dont need immediately stays near the fukkin door

are you there to work out or show off your purse.

also my gym doesnt have dindu's or nuffin, (reasonably)premium charges keep away unwanted lifters
and to the gun nuts, fukkin something is really wrong with you.
if you are voluntarily going to a gym that makes you fear for you life, stop fukking going. leave that chit in the car SRS and dont act like people shouldn't be nervous around someone IN A FUKKING GYM with a gun, not saying you necessarily show it off. thats just the stupidest thing i heard.

I carry my bag everywhere in the gym. I don't like leaving my bag in the changing room as I have money, keys, weed, bands, straps, wraps, belt, and my boxing gloves etc in my bag. There's no lockers so I carry it around with me. What does it matter to you why I'm carrying my bag around? Focus on your own chit

Threads like these honestly show just how petty and judgmental so many people are in the gym.

Go there, lift, do your chit, and be courteous. Put the weights back in the right spot; re-rack (in order) the plates (don't put 25kg plates in front of 1.25kg plates for the love of god because you're 'tired'), use a towel and wipe down after using a station, come to the gym fairly clean (no cheese reeking freaks please who seem to have not showered in a week when they get there). Don't gawk at the women around you as if you've never seen a woman squat in her f'n life, and stop staring at the guys working out too unless you're doing the 'good job brah' thumbs up thing for a lift. This is an indicative not an exhaustive list - some gyms are a good way to see guys/women who seem to have been born in a cave somewhere.

Just SMH at guys who go to the gym and have so much free time in their life that they stand around judging what others are doing (i.e., carrying a bag with them) - who the F**K cares, as long as it is not in your way?
