This is why I always leave my car to dad so that he use it every now and then when I'm not around for a long time.

Is there a possibility that the battery even though being charged might not work in my vehicle ?

Try pumping it up first and then check it for leaks. Sometimes tires will leak around the rim from sitting for a long time. There's a good chance you don't even need a new tire.

If you don't have an air compressor/tire pump, take it off, put on the spare, and drive to a tire shop and have them check it out. Unless they're shady ****ers they'll be honest about if the tire is shot or not.

Used tires are for poor people. It would be socially irresponsible for you to use one up when you can afford new. (srs, I haven't bought a used tire since I was 15. Try to repair it, if you can't, then buy a new matching one)

Update - went to tire shop today .. Wasn't a flat .. Wheel had a dent in it which caused it to leak air.. The guy used a glue /putty to fix the wheel.. Was only 10 bucks .. Any idea how long it will last ?
