The problem is the outliers, not the majority.

The vast majority of sub 120 IQ 18-25 year olds who grew up with good parenting and safe gun handling wouldn’t need “gun license” to responsibly own a gun. Nor should they.

Like everything else it’s the 1% that **** it up for everyone else. Because people drink drive shall we ban cars for everyone? Because people stab others with knives should we ban knives for everyone?

The best solution to the gun issue IMO is crack down HARD on unstable people having access to guns. The majority of weapons used in mass shootings are bought, not acquired through other means. So if you visited a shrink and they deem you a public safety hazard, they can place you on a nationwide ban from buying guns. Re evaluate after 1 year. Same with police or what not.

Why do you think we haven't been invaded?

Why do you think that we're still a democracy?

I would say 100 iq minimum and 2-3 evaluations from psychologists_psychiatrists before buying and using a gun

Something like that must be done in the US for sure.

Extra license even.. For bigger weapons

Fukk outta here with that. In that scenario you can simply get the psychiatrists to make it extremely difficult to get a gun.

- have you lost your temper in the past year? If so no gun

- have you experienced road rage in the past year? If so no gun

- have you ever been drunk in the past year or ever consume more than 4 alcoholic drinks at a time? If so no gun

- have you ever been on ADD medication? If so no gun

- Has a movie or song made you cry in the last five years? If so no gun.

Just lmao at anyone who’s willing to let a god-given right hinge on whether you meet some criteria made up by people who can base it on whatever they want to.

One of the great things about the US is that we can actually take a look at our nation's laws and see them across a spectrum.

If anything, looking at a map like that tells you that gun laws are a poor indicator of homicide rate in the US.
that's the entire point of my post....
