10/10 movie brahs srs.

I was going to hold off on seeing it until a few weeks from now when I'm visiting home, but I couldn't do it and bought a 1:15 ticket last night.

Let's talk about where the Avengers goes from here. There's an untitled Avengers movie being released in 2019. Captain Marvel is coming out two months before that. Captain Marvel will apparently take place in the 90s but it will somehow tie into Thanos.

So now that he has all the stones... how do they kill him?

If they can defeat him... can they use the time stone to bring back any of the killed Avengers?

Wouldn't this also bring back Thanos?

I think Dr. Strange allowed everything to happen as it did the one/13M times that they actually won. I think Iron Man will play a crucial role in killing him.

They made Vision such a poocy. Srs. The guy holds one of the stones and barely put up a fight in the entire movie. Got the **** beat out of him like three times and had to be saved by Scarlet Witch and Cap and crew.

Also... how is there going to be a GotG3 if half the Guardians are dead? Is it going to prequel the first two?

Also what's Squidward's name? I actually kind of enjoyed him as a co-villain.

i think they beat thanos by playing on his ego/pride


I always wondered if vision would ever do anything epic in all the movies he's been in but he's just been a generic "look i can shoot a laserbeam". didn't do a single cool thing...ever. disappointing as a character. but i don't know his comic abilities/feats so maybe that's all he's good for

It’d be cool for the next movie to feature the Celestials/ other godly beings like Eternity trying to bring down Thanos and getting curbstomped.

A cameo of Wolverine would be awesome as well, since Hugh Jackman said he’d return as Wolverine if he could be in an avengers movie.

99% sure none of those will happen but it’d be cool

Captain marvels movie will be an origin story, so when she arrives to help in avengers 4 everyone will know her

how do they kill him? who fukkin knows i think Dr strange has a spell on the time stone

i dont think they will bring back those who died only those who ceased to exist aka the ones who turned to ashes

vision was hurt from the beginning, he is made out of vibranium and the thing they stabbed with some how penetrated him and probably did some other dmg

Probably doubt we see any celestials or death/eternity/Galactus and other S tiers. They showed a celestial once in First guardians and the watchers with the Stan Lee cameo. They don't want to confuse casual fans.

How is Quill just able to catch and hold a gun to Spiderman? Earlier he was sling shotting cars with 1 hand with out effort.

Would've liked to have seen Adam Warlock, and Silver Surfer in it.

I'm guessing it was Capt. Marvel that Nick Fury was paging? Wtf is she going to do?

Taking odds on Tony Stark plowing Nebula on Titan, since they seem to be stranded.

Also I got a kick over some dude nerd raging that the end of the movie when Thanos sat down to chill, and then literally jump out of his seat with joy when Fury paged Capt Marvel.

9.5/10 for entertainment

Everytime Vision was attacked, it was a surprise/sneak attack, he rarely had time to react and was badly injured for the vast majority of the film.

lol Squidwards name was Ebony Maw.

Plus they made it clear that the stab messed up Vision’s ability to phase. That’s where a ton of his power comes from (e.g., growing more dense to get stronger).

If the deal goes through with Fox, its possible that the X-men could be in the movie....I highly doubt if Wolverine is in it, it will be Jackman. Disney will probably find their own younger actor that can be used for multiple movies over the course of several years.

Another point is, if Nick Fury knows of Captain Marvel that means she's on earth. So, why wouldn't she have been aware of the events of the past Avengers movies?.....Not unless she's from an alternate reality that SHIELD has been able to tap into....an alternate reality that has the x-men perhaps?

of course, i'm just speculating....

Just watched the movie. Wow it was fukin awesome. The Peter and Tony scene got me good. Definitely watching it again. Thanos is a fukin savage. One of the most powerful scenes to me was : "Did you do it? What did it cost?"

So I suppose Captain Marvel is supposed to the hero in Infinity War 2? What a crock of chit.

Her powers aren't enough to beat Thanos but since she's a woman this will be a juicy movie for those libtards and SJWs.

Well, they never get into it, but we know Celestials existed in the MCU (we saw them in GotG, and Knowhere is one of their skulls. In the comics, they had a hand in engineering all the races.

So there’s at least some explanation why all beings (Earth, Asgard, Sakar, Xandar, Kree, etc) seem able to breath oxygen.

Why they all speak English though...

Yes, it was Capt. Marvel that Fury pages at the end. What is she doing to do? No doubt she'll play a big part in helping The Avengers stop Thanos, but I just hope she's not the "saving grace" and is the sole reason they win. In the comics, Thanos is defeated as each Avenger targets a specific gem within the gauntlet and has the ability to overpower that specific power. ie. Hulk - Power stone, etc.

I think Strange gave Thanos the stone for a reason, that being, the only possible outcome where they won was if he gave Thanos the stone. No doubt, Strange will play a big part in Part II, once of he course is he brought back to life. I think he will be one of the key characters in "returning the world to how it was" via the time stone.

It's pretty simple I think, Thanos at one point stated "I can snap my fingers and make a world disappear." He also talked about culling half the population to allow it to thrive, it was just purely random that 1/2 the population of earth would disappear, and some would remain behind. Purely as part of his "population control" in culling numbers. Hence, it was entirely random which Avengers would disappear/stay.

I likely think Ant-man and the Wasp will take place before Thanos invades earth. The reason for him and Hawkeye not being in Infinity War is explained during the film. Likely, once he sees the state of affairs he will likely come out of retirement.

really hope they can bring back strange, have always enjoyed Benedict and plays dr strange so well.

edit: rewatched the trailer and hulk is clearly out and about with the squad in wakanda fighting the army... was bummed only a beginning fight with hulk and thanos and that was it
