Nothing too weird, probably because I don't present myself as particularly nice/approachable to strangers who don't have a good reason to speak to me. The other factor is that I avoid chitty areas like the hood/trailer parks/ghetto downtown areas the plague.

That being said, chit that an ex-gf with several BPD traits said to me over the course of the year I dated her are probably the worst things I've personally heard. More than a handful of times, she brought up emo chit like the concept of "cutting", though swore she'd never do it despite thinking about it at times. She always talked about chit like that completely unprovoked. Oh, and she constantly claimed she had various aches and pain, particularly back pain and headaches. Not a single day went by when she didn't bitch about those things at least a handful of times.

She'd also often randomly start talking about people that I and others she was talking to didn't know as if they personally knew them. She'd freak out if she was ever called out on how strange that behavior was, and had meltdowns when asked to correct it. She also had meltdowns over every minor disagreement I ever had with her, screaming in a pyschotic rampage "Why can't you just let me win!?!?!?!" while balling her eyes out. I chalk it up partially to her being batchit and partially that she was just fairly damn stupid when it came down to it.

Was at a Wal-Mart looking at CD's a man tried to get me to go into a dressing room with him. Said something to the effect of, "I have a daughter about your age and want to buy her something, can you try it on so I can see how it looks?" Think I was 9-10 at the time.

Was babysitting for my next door neighbor when she told me she'd had a dream where we had sex with one another. She was 100% gauging my reaction - I know there's a word for this, where predators sort of groom kids, but I don't think "grooming" is exactly the word I'm looking for. Was 14.

Another time a father was driving me home from babysitting and we were talking about a paper I was working on for class. All that is to say, Parents of the Misc, do not allow your daughters to babysit. And if you do, for goodness sakes make sure that YOU are the one picking them up from the house at night. Do not allow either Mom or Dad (women can be predators too) to drive her home. Just....don't. If she wants to earn money, she can get a job at Wendy's.

lights went out at the gym (still dim from backups) and i started moving the bench from the smith machine to the dumbbell area and i almost hit some lady (wood not plow). i said sorry i almost plowed into you. and she put her hand on me and said it wouldnt be the first time... at the time i wasnt sure if she wanted the pepperoni, but then i saw her there recently and she always smiles and says hi.

To your second point, "grooming" is definitely the word you were looking for. What you described is the very early stages of grooming, but it's textbook of the twisted behavior. Indeed, that bitch was trying to guage your reaction, and was thinking in her mind how she could continue grooming you had you responded in any manner besides complete and utter rejection of her.

I'm kind of surprised she wasn't bold enough to make further sick attempts at it unless you threatened to tell your parents or the cops about it. Good on you for being smart enough to evade that bs. Predators are the scum of the Earth.

That's exactly what it was, thank you. So the truly bananas part is I actuallydidtell my Mom about the incident. My mother - bless her heart - proceeded to lecture me on how lesbianism is a sin. So in a child's mind, an incident made me uncomfortable and it wasn't okay, I told my Mom, and got in trouble.

And crazy lady did make further attempts. She showed me her dildo collection a few times, told me she could get me drugs, that it was fine to have a few drinks with her if I wanted. Of course at the time I didn't really view it as predatory, was legit thinking "This lady is a fuking weirdo." After a few attempts she quit, never put her hands on me or anything like that. It ultimately just boils down to them having psychopathic personalities. They just don't give a chit about anyone but themselves when it boils down to it, which enables them to justify their disgusting behaviors in their own minds.

As for your mom's reaction to you telling her, sounds like a case of religious literalism gone too far to where she lost track of what's actually important in such matters. Like she totally missed the meat and potatoes of the story that this goon was trying to prey on you due to her preoccupation with fundementalist religious chit that made her overly scared of homosexuality in general. But oh well, as least your story ended well enough in that case.
