They glue on 454 sensors on your face with 454 wires attached to it and tell you to go to sleep. They can hear you and see you and you can hear them if they chose to talk to you.

You sleep, they wake you up at about 4am and send you home. As i walked out of the office the technician goes "oh yeah, youll be back for sure this week"

The second night you go in they hook you up to a cpap machine and they test out different levels. etv.

Anyway, after your insurance provides you with a machine, you sleep like absolute CRAP for about 3 nights...after you get used to the mask you start to notice that you feel fine when you wake up. Like you actually slept all night. I dont even notice the machine anymore and it seems to trigger my body to SLEEP. As soon as I put the mask on I doze off like its some sort of laughing gas.
Uh.... I hope you lose weight now to eliminate the sleep apnea.

Night owl checking in but working new day shift. If I get 6 or less hours I wake up dragging ass and take forever to wake up. Definitely not a morning person and get annoyed with the bright light from the bathroom blasting my eyes like the sun. What sucks is I will come home from work, shower, eat and get on YouTube then it's lights out for 30-60 minutes sleeping hard on my chair. Wish I slept that way when I actually get into bed but with a ****ty pillow flatter than pancakes I toss and turn and it doesn't matter that I slept for 2 good hours earlier.

I don't know why I tend to stay up another 10 minutes + another 10 at the end of the night searching random chit or miscing. But come morning I fight for every minute I can squeeze out of the snooze button. Then I'll tell myself "I better go to sleep early tonight".

Unless you have kids waking you in the night or something, it's probably just a less than perfect lifestyle. Consider when you go to sleep and how much quality sleep you get, screens before bedtime, how much fruit and vege are you getting, all that.

As you get older you don't get tireder, it's just that your body has less tolerance for abuse. At 26 I could stay up all night drinking and go to work the next day, have fish and chips for lunch and be fine, at 36 I was less than fine, now at 46 I'd be totally ratsht and useless. The tolerances become smaller.

One black rockstar can a day (usually morning)
Sleep 7-8 hours a night and feel ok.

If I get less than that though I typically take a nap at work.

In Australia, the government health recommendation for males 19-50yo is 2 pieces of fruit (2x150g, ie about 6oz) and 3 cups (450g, ie about a pound) of vegies daily. And that's along with their recommendation for 30' of light cardio a day, if you're working out harder then it stands to reason you'd need more. I aim at 3 fruit and 3 cups vegies.

Part of it's just ritual. Every weekday lunchtime I'll cook a piece of steak, fish or chicken, and have 2 cups of vegies, I'm lazy so I just microwave some frozen mixed vegies. I toss in some butter and salt to make them more palatable. When I started a few months back it seemed like a lot, now it goes down easily. Then when I go into the gym at 4pm, I take in two pieces of fruit. So with those rituals, 2/3 of what I need each day is covered, usually a morning snack of fruit, or fruit for dessert will take care of the other piece of fruit, and whatever we have at dinner will have some vegies, too.

your tolerance for caffeine will be stupidly high by now, it's likely barely having an effect. You need to cut it all out for a good week or 2.

OP it may be a sleep issue like other miscers said, or it could be your environment. I've had boring jobs that made me 10x more tired, and then when I switched jobs, I had 10x the energy with everything else staying the same

Passed the 40 mark.

My fatigue in my 30s was way worse, partly lifestyle partly undiagnosed sleep anpea.

The thing that was the most immediate help was going on a low carb diet, energy levels are flat as a board now. You dont get jacked up like a good caffeine high, but you can run at 85% morning to night.

Weight is a primary cause, but its also dependent on the geometry or your throat tissue and nasal passage. I will have it forever, I had it when I was 19 and running 20k cross country.

CPAP-4-LYFE, the thing changed my life.

30 isn't old you cheeky kunt!

35, and I am rarely tired. I think not drinking/smoking/drugs does help. As does exercising and a generally healthy lifestyle. I do have a coffee pre-workout if I am home though, plus an actual pre-workout slightly later.

46 years old, 2 kids (4 & 6), work full-time, at the gym 5days/week (3x heavy lifting/2x cardio), not including chasing the kids around, I also cook dinner 6x week for the family.

Tired is simply a state of mind.

I allow myself to be tired only after what needs to be done gets done.

33, Married with 1 Kid.

GET YOUR SLEEP!! I don't know why people want to sacrifice sleep for other things. I wake up between 5 AM and 5:30 everyday and I am good throughout the day. Drink espresso in the morning. Thats it. I bet most of your problems have to do with your diet and the amount of sleep you are getting.

I'll usually drink 3 cups in the first 2 hours, maybe one more in the late morning or early afternoon but not always. There are days when I feel beat but oddly enough those are days where there's little to do. I wouldn't mind a daily nap but I don't usually have time to work one in. And as I've gotten older, my "naps" have gotten shorter and shorter. Sometimes feel like my brain just needs a quick reboot and I'm out for just a split second. Weird.

I've cut back on beer quite a bit over the last 5 years, but I took a 6 week break last year and felt like it impacted my sleep more than anything. Often I'd sleep less, and sleep less deeply but feel better the next day. So even though now I strictly limit my alcohol intake to 1-2 nights a week, nothing beats stopping all together.

Idk, I'd check your sleep and other parts of your diet.

I'm only recently tired a bunch due to a newborn and toddler keeping me up most nights.

Working 12 hours a day then hitting the gym then wonder why your tired. What do you sleep 45 minutes a night after all the caffeine and pre workout. What are you building the pyramids under a whip?

Eliminate caffeine after 3-4pm.

I have 2 cups in the morning and another around 2pm. Gym after work.

At night 2 rum and diet(caffeine free) cokes.

I also have a CPAP and test levels are in check.

I'm 38, work 5-6 days a week and still manage to go to the gym 5x a week...I'm rarely tired and I think its because I get enough sleep, drink lots of water, and being active...
