How does despising an inanimate object make someone insecure?

I just hate how unoriginal subarus are. I hate how abundant they are. I hate the exhaust note and I hate how everyone that owns them thinks they are fast.

All of you *******s would guaranteed talk **** on someone who drives a riced out Honda civic.

But it's pretty fukin funny that none of you can see the striking similarities between an early 2000s civic and modern day wrx's. They are both riced the fuk out and they both sound like chit and almost all of them are owned by children who don't even know how to drive.

That's not insecurity in the slightest. I could buy one today if I truly wanted one.
I had an r1, downgraded to a gsxr 600. I'm not a professional rider and I'm pretty sure neither are you. I'm not saying saying it takes more skill to drive but you're making it seem like every rider who rides has skills and I'm telling you that's not the case. When I race guys on bikes and they're wearing their squid outfit, I know I won because usually their stupidity loses them the race even though the bike is capable of beating my car.

If you're talking about a road course, I hate to say it but a fast car with an average driver will beat a fast bike with an average rider.

But I was talking about straight line, like off a roll on a highway. Bikers who race use their balls to race, not skill. It does not take skill to twist the throttle on a bike from 60 to hit 150. Anyone who ever rode and learned the basics could do that.

Corvettes are nice I'll admit. But they are for mid life crisis balding fat men.

Wow can you PLEASE PLEASE tell me what car and motorcycle you own so i can be as cool as you bro?

Honestly bro you sound PATHETIC

Get a hold of yourself people love what they love. I find it a beyond pathetic that you even describe the clothing and everything that every person wears while driving a car.

I personally love mustangs had a v6 and now v8. Have you even gone to car shows ? Wide range of people enjoy mustangs from old 60yo dads to 17 yo highschool students and everything in between.

I know Mustangs are seen as "douchey" but I love mine. It's a 71 Boss with a 351 cleveland motor. By far my favorite body style.
I just appreciate it for what it is; a big loud flashy beast that weighs a billion pounds and can't turn for chit, but makes up for it with character and quirks.

What blows my mind even more is that mustang drivers actually give me a wave lol

I thought the corvette vs mustang war was a never ending battle.

That's how i know GM did a good job with the C7 gen. When i had my C6, even though it was modified, i didn't get any props from mustang owners. Jumped into the C7Z and all of a sudden we cool lol.

That's what's great about the car culture. You meet so many people just because of your car.

You've got good taste.

Yeah, I got the Boss in mint condition. I painted it and put some more stock-ish looking wheels on it, but I don't even want to admit how much I spent on that thing lol.
It's got 66-67k miles on it, the odo has never turned over.... it was ridiculous. Worth it though.

Mustangs and Jeeps saturate the roads in my area....

I honestly think there are more Mustangs and Jeeps than Camry's, Accords and Mini vans. Its pretty sad when you mod your vehicle and it still doesnt look unique because 99% of the people with the same car do the exact same mods as you do...

Lets be real tea -

almost every Jeep - 3 inch lift/XD wheels/33-35 inch tires AND "its a Jeep thing" sticker
almost every Mustang - Exhaust, intake, shifter mod, tint, wheels and a "LS eater", "kid peeing on chevy" or a "Camar-no" sticker

Mustangs are really nice cars but I wouldnt buy one because Im simply sick of looking at them, regardless of the mods applied.

There is a difference between not liking a car and putting people down and talking **** about them because they love certain cars. You literally named 3 of the most popular cars and proceeded to talk **** about people that owned them. Not only that you put them in your stupid catagory that is clearly wrong as can be seen by above female poster who owns a mustang.

I like mustangs because

- of the way they sound
- fun to drive (i have manual)
- Money to performance ratio (New mustang gt can be had for low $30k which is amazing for 460 hp car)
- the way they look

lol mad hate at wrx's but recommend evos and srt4.....

I feel there is an underlying story here like you got burned by one, this seems personal not logical hate against wrx.

Anywho - I love all kinds of cars/trucks, I find I like more than not. Maybe I only look at the pros/cool things about them?

GT350 - that rev range
wrx/sti - AWD turbo year-round fun time for affordable
evo - same as above
GTI - same as above
370z/brz/frs seem fun as fuk to gocart around in.
challengers - dat hellcat and demon power is ridiculous.
m3/4's are pretty as fuk, myron aesthetics.

Also think jags and alfa's are pretty aesthetic as well.

My dream job would be top gear host, drive awesome cars (and sometimes lulzy ones) and review em.

The FRS/BRZ is slow AS PHUCK dude. If that's your only car, then you made a terrible car purchase.

If it's your weekend toy that you take autocrossing or do any type of track time, then it's a decent platform to develop your skills with.

Every car he mentioned all has different purposes with a wide range in price.

I still would like to know what car/bike he owns.

This. I'm just glad v8 manuals are even still around. They are so iconic american, I give major credit to Ford, Chevy and Dodge for continuing to do so, compete against each other and put out some beastly stuff.

As I mentioned, I think they are getting a little expensive with newer tech and whatnot, but i'll take that over a 4 cylinder chitbox any day.

Ya FRS/BRZ are slow but they are so tiny it'd be like driving a go-cart. Would be fun for track but I def wouldn't buy one for a daily. I think of it like a CRX lol, ya not very fast but fun as fuk to do chit in.

Think of the s2000s they only got what ~230 hp but weigh ~2800lbs? BRZ is what ~200hp and around same weight? Think their 0-60times are a few tenths different (S2000 is ~5.7, BRZ ~6.0). Throw a turbo on those cars and they just got way more fun.

Ya, throwing in m series to compare to evo/wrx or vettes. I think a few posts ago he has a Taco and unsure about his bike.

I've actually been considering a 18-19 ECO-boost premium, I honestly don't care much about performance, I'm not a street racing teen anymore. I just want an aggressive sporty looking fun to drive car with decent mpg for cheap. Mustangs have a crazy array of aftermarket parts which you can make your car somewhat unique.

I think a few posts ago he has a Taco and unsure about his bike.
i had an ap1 s2000 for like 6 months before it got stolen and stripped. so fukken fun to drive.

It is a legit car, but I don't think its an actual 'Boss' car. Strikes me as a Mach 1 looking at it. They didnt make many Boss cars and there arent a lot of survivors, you can check your vin on the boss registry. I have a friend who has a 1970 302 car.

Boss in 71 came with a 4V Cleveland and an 4bbl Autolite spread bore carb. It was also 11:1+ compression and the engines/valve trains didnt survive well on unleaded gas after 1975. That carb alone today is worth $3-4k to people putting together numbers matching cars. A complete non-running engine would sell today for north of $20k. If its a real Boss and you spent less than $50-60k on it you stole it.

Trust me man i know. I had an FD3S rx7 a while ago making 330rwhp. It weighed without me in it 2620. One of the funnest cars i've owned in terms of handling. And it was fast but all the power was above 5000rpm lol. So it was the WORST to drive normal. You couldn't. The car had zero torque at low rpm's so when you're trying to keep up with traffic, you're constantly revving it and people think you're racing them. On the highway it flew though.

But once i got into a C5 corvette back in the day, i was hooked on the V8. I didn't turn back. All my toys had V8's in them. It's much easier to live with, to make power, to work on etc.

They're just better.

But nowadays there are soo many nice fast cars, that even if you had a 6cyl, depending which one, can still be fun.

Sure i am a mustang fan boy but i also respect and admire cameros vettes and challengers.
I never understood either.

But like i said my C7Z now has gotten me the most attention ever in a car. Everyone waves and smiles. My previous cars only car fan boys and 12 year old kids give me a thumbs up.

Now everyone does. Teenie boppers, milfs, car guys, old guys, young guys, mustang guys, ferrari guys.

They just love this generation corvette. Can't wait for the mid engine vette.

Why is anyone arguing about bike vs car.. bike will pound a car unless it's a super car every time.. I have a C5 and a gsxr 600 so I'm not bias either way but they are two different animals.. it doesn't take skill to drive a bike in a straight line it takes balls.. brb driving C5 170mph is fun while doing over 150 on the gsxr is easy but scary as hell..

I just appreciate it for what it is; a big loud flashy beast that weighs a billion pounds and can't turn for chit, but makes up for it with character and quirks.

Boss Mustangs were only made from 1969 to 1970.
I've been wronged by that super dirty son of a bitch dazed" crew.
