Sure, those drawings depict acts of extreme barbarism and cruelty. However as has already been stated, they refer to historic events committed during the 19th century at the latest. If you look through history, everyone can play the victim game; whites were enslaved also by North African owners in huge numbers. Slavery has been going on in various formats for millennia. It is unfair to declare that anyone who's nation has old blood on their hands cannot condemn OTHER nations who still practise the barbarism and cruelty. I don't expect you to agree with me Blazenwave, that's my view however. Should nations bear the weight of their ancestral crimes for all eternity? Especially when a relatively small percentage of said ancestors were directly involved?

They’re not slaves they come here and sign a contract to work as full time maids. We have a lot of maids still, if it was so terrible they wouldn’t keep coming here to work. Just like how there are abusive families, there are families abusive towards maids, you’ll find awful people everywhere.

Every race on Earth has owned slaves and been enslaved. White people are the only race to fight a war against their own race to end slavery. In 2018 Muslims still own slaves, it is part of their culture. In 2018 Muslims still wage jihad, it is part of their culture. They still do honor killings, they still stone women to death, they still sh*t on the street, they still fuk their sisters, cousins, goats. They have an objectively inferior culture.
Today white people are being told that they should not feel proud of their own accomplishments in life that they themselves achieve because it was only because of "white privilege" BUT they should feel guilty about theirancestorsowning slaves 150+ years ago...the fukin irony. It's amazing how inconsistent and fundamentally flawed leftist ideology is when someone who is not below average IQ actually thinks about it.

I am not Muslim, do not and never have had any sympathy for them, so I don't care to sit here and defend them, but I do think you're doing a little mix and matching with cultures in your little racist spew there. Sh*ting in the street? You're thinking of India, but you already proved yourself ignorant in your opening statement.
I'm not going to waste my time as you sit here and attempt to feel sorry for yourself because it really is kind of pathetic. No one ever said it's a negative to be white in America.

To help illustrate my point I'll use an analogy: Imagine a man with black hair committed a murder, and we were debating whether all men with black hair should be punished for his actions. To most Westerners this would probably sound ridiculous, because individual responsibility is a value. In other parts of the world they believe in collective punishment. North Korea for example two generations of a family will be punished. To westerners this notion is ridiculous, unjust, and immoral.Sure, those drawings depict acts of extreme barbarism and cruelty. Wasn't their a case recently where an Arab killed or beat the maid and got no charges on it?
Signing a contract for basically indentured servitude still doesn't give anyone the right to assume theyre subhuman.

Just for historical sake, yes slavery ended in the 19th century, but the barbarism roadwellinto the 20th century. Martin Luther King was shot dead in 1968. Not sure why people are in denial about the fallout of a heavily racist culture which was so recently considered normal. It's effecting us to this day whether you would like to admit it or not.

We don’t view them as subhumans. There are also cases of abuse for domestic maids in other countries like Singapore.

man lands on fukking moon
I work in the middle East. it's sad but what can you do.
the whole locking them up and taking their passport used to happen way more. it's the minority now, and almost all are able to quit their job and leave when they want
however they do need approval from their 'sponsors' (their employer) to leave the country. Including temporarily for any duration. and will need to present this at the airport to get out, which sucks.
the most prevalent issue is how they are hired.
scouts employed by the company go to the home countries of the prospective workers and hire them from abroad. but they are told a false salary. higher than average. to get them hooked.
once they arrive it is actually much lower. they can still leave, but there is usually a minimum term of say 6 months plus- so the company or person has a maid or cleaner working for nothing for at least this time. rinse and repeat.

Most of the territorial claims of the Crusaders were lost after a few years.

I've been to *****, I have friends in *****, and relatives in Oman and Qatar. On the whole, yes, if you are not Arab (Muslim) then you are not going to be treated at equal par (socially or legally). That being said, if you are a professional then you'll definitely get more respect compared to the average maid, house keeper, construction worker etc. Yes, there is open discrimination in those countries and 2nd class citizenship feeling among foreign expat workers but the allure of making lots of money is always bringing people to those countries and lo and behold, those same countries (especially the Gulf) are opening up and accommodating foreign expats.
For example:
-Kuwait has an ambassador to the Vatican.
-Lebanon is very cosmopolitan and interfaith marriages are common.
- In Morocco, the Jewish community is not just recognized but also embraced as part of Moroccan culture and heritage.
- In Oman, you have Christian churches and Hindu temples and are free to worship openly (as long as you don't proselytize or disrupt public order).
- In Qatar - because of the large expat community - officials are allowing more cultural festivals to be celebrated openly. For example, you can celebrate Christmas openly (but not during Ramadan).
I think the Middle East will slowly open up to more change and tolerance for others but they will always take pride in their own heritage, history, and culture and no minority group demands will change that. That's what the EU should also do but they don't and if you don't respect your own history, then who else will?

- ones that will never truly assimilate into the society of a western country. They will hold all their beliefs from their homeland. They will only associate with other immigrants from their region. These are the people that create most of the terrorism, raping and other problems
- ones that decide for whatever reason they want to fit in, assimilate, be open minded etc. Ive seen this happen with many immigrants that come to the USA young (age 1-16). The most common reason i see is they want to fuk white women (cant blame them there) and white western women are usually repelled by fresh off the boat looking people from 2nd and 3rd world unless theyre hot. Ive never witnessed someone who came here as an adult assimilate.

Why are you even surprised opie ? Those same people did not stop having slaves until recently (Still legally had slaves until the 60's) and would have kept owning them was it not for western powers strongly inciting them to stop : It's completely halal according to the Qur'an so why not ?
They may have dropped the full-fledged slavery but they still treat their employees as mere servants who only have more rights than dogs.

it's really bull**** how the UN doesn't do anything about it
know a lot of people who worked in saudi. those guys are ****ing scumbags. one of my coworkers who used to work there as an engineer had so many rape stories. they'll knock on your door all night sometimes and if you open it they'll rape you. and you can never go to the bathroom alone or they'll get you there. and if you don't have facial hair you'll get molested and ****.
i think at least in iraq and pakistan the general population doesn't treat you like that. (i have a lot of kurdish and afghan refugee friends who are actually the nicest people i've met)
