sounds good, we dont have to re invent the wheel here. The project is on my radar, we can just touch base and get the ball rolling ASAP. Maybe brainstorm best practice and join up thinking on this one. Im glad you are in the drivers seat, but my door is always open.

I use "your thoughts" all the time. You have to understand that red is HR, which is known to be completely useless and make up nonsensical workplace best practices.

I have had a HR person admit they make up stuff to justify their job. Please advise if this is your experience as well.

It's refreshing to hear this language is complete nonsense outside of the workplace.

But in reality, we must continue to tell the story and form a plan of action that's strategic, well-placed and hits all of our targets from A to Z. Let's touch base next week (I'll calendar it for you in Google) and ensure we have all of our deliverables identified for our next brainstorm.

BTW, anyone else feel that someone who responds "That's a great question" is a way of saying "I have no fxcking clue what the answer is" or "You smug bastard, you know that question is too difficult to respond to in front of plebs." Please advise.

And I forgot one more: "Let's take this offline" is the BS way of saying "This is not a topic I want to discuss in front of certain people [in this room / on this call]."

If you’d actually answer the question I was asking I wouldn’t have to follow up with a “please advise”.

Like all office jargon, it's a concise, one-size-fits-all, instruction.

It's useful to send to a manager because whilst it's polite, it's also direct, and difficult to ignore.

Because it's in black on white on an email, people do it to cover their own arses.

Systematic of a white collar office environment, i.e. stuffy, formal, pressurised, paranoid, robotic and homogenous.
