Obviously no one knows, but probability exists. What do you think are the chances that the market holds out for at least 36 more months without a major crash? 5%-10%?

25% or so... The market is over valued and I honestly am surprised it hasn't crashed yet....

HOWEVER... After it crashes it will rebound in a couple of years. People will over buy to a new high... It will crash... Rebound... New high... crash... rebound.

Most of us are about 30 years old and will probably see another 5 crashes before we retire. Big fuking deal.

If you are sooo convinced banks now own the retirement game just go buy leveraged shares of financial equities and profit....

Real Estate market is turning hard right now in Portland. Im recommending all my sellers to sell ASAP and all my buyers to hold off from making a purchase unless they're okay potentially being upside down in a couple of years.

We've had a solid wave brahs. Stack cash now and profit later.
im seeing it here in the DFW metro too... and we are usually immune to big waves... its like someone hit the brakes hard in just the last few months... inventory is growing fast, houses dropping prices, and some houses that should sell asap just have us scratching our heads...

Pay someone close to Trump or in leadership of the RNC a couple hundred grand or a million to resign and then conveniently tell a whole big ole whopper of a fish tale story?

Conspiracy to cause the stock market to crash via a massive, coordinated selloff?

Fabricated, computer generated 'recordings' 'leaked' to the press with the RNC or Trump saying something horrible, just horrible I tell ya!?

What's it gonna be?
Don't sell.

That's exactly what the enemy wants to happen.

There's no mystery here. Fed raises rates, debt service becomes unsustainable.

Leverage is so often a house of cards. Absolutely everything is overly leveraged these days.

Does anyone really believe we have a fundamentally sound economy?

Student loan debt: 1.5 trillion, higher than 2008
Credit card debt: 1 trillion, higher than 2008
Auto loan debt: 1.2 trillion, higher than 2008
Mortgage debt: 15.2 trillion, higher than 2008
Corporate debt has increased by 2.5 trillion or 40% since 2008
US national debt is 21.4 trillion, highest ever ofc
Trade deficit: 50 billion

The total derivatives market is like 1.2 quadrillion lol

All of this chit is with wages remaining stagnant over the last decade.

What happens when debt balloons while wages stay the same and debt service payments increase due to rates rising?

Make Europe Germany Again

Real estate in South East UK is crashing hard atm in the luxury homes market. Seeing a ton of houses up for sale £4M+ that just havent moved for a year or so.

Others are £2.5M and less than 6months later up at £1.45M with no bidders.

Others up at £1.75M then selling for £1.2M

Simple. Market timing never works. The pros can't get it right, and neither will you. You'll wait too long and the market will have recovered.

that was because of a once off tax cut for drump's fellow swampers

there is absolutely nothing in the works to prop up this market going forward, expect an absolutely catastrophic death spiral from here, i'm talking dow at the 5000 level

we are headed into a depression that will span into the decades punters, the lost generations future historians will call this period

just absolutely horrifying stuff we are about to witness and worse yet experience

"Time in the market beats timing the market" is just a general rule. There are conditions when that rule goes out the window and right now is one of them imo. Shiller PE is over 30, 2nd highest of all time. Interest rates are rising quickly meaning debt repayments are going to shoot up and earnings growth is unsustainable. **** is going to go south at some point in the near future.

Like the market it’s hard to time real estate. One would say buy after we get a correction but we don’t know when the next one will be.

Have had that UTAD area marked since early-mid summer. Wyckoff ftw, though it could still be frauding and this is a nasty af shakeout but either way it's obvious supply entered the market in January

Here’s the thing guys....people are pulling money out of the stock market now, but corporate earnings are off the charts this year. There’s going to be another run up of the stock market from record-breaking earnings reports over the next 6 months, then there are also going to be huge bonuses distributed in February next year for a variety of industries. These bonuses will drive up asset values even further, and my guess is this is what will finally bring things to a halt.

You forgot that a lot of the huge buybacks that were approved will start to take effect.

This market has a lot more upside than downside right know with the known risks and tailwinds. If tariffs start getting pulled back and China opens up their economy for US investment we’re gonna fly.

I’ve yet to see anyone identify an iminant risk other than what they or some analyst “feels” could happen. Bull runs don’t stop because they’ve hit some sort of time cap, we’d need some sort of large scale precipitating event. Interest rates are still historically low, banks are healthy and are properly leveraged, they’ll continue to lend.
