I waited tables my early 20's and helped him part time with various construction projects. He didn't start the company until around 2015. He needed help getting it off the ground so I worked for him for months with no pay while we waited for checks from contractors for the first few jobs. About a year in everything just took off and we were able to purchase more equipment to expand what we are able to offer (equipment for the field ranges from $10k to $100k). Now we're expanding into enterprise WiFi and hired a computer wizard to jumpstart it.

As for education I have 7 certifications now specific to the industry. All were 1-2 week crash courses.

This thread is retarded. Most people on misc don't claim to be CEO 10k/day in my experience.

Any time there is a salary or job thread there are tons of people stating that they make about average, including in this thread. With that in mind and taking into account that 70k-80k in many locations (i.e. SF, NY, LA, etc.) is equivalent to 50k-60k elsewhere, the answer is clear: this thread is fake news.

Spoiler!
Having said that fukin LOL at you fawkin peasants, haven't seen south of 6 figures since I was 25 . The real challenge is going from mid 100's to +250 a year, a challenge that I'm well positioned to conquer before 40 (srs).

I made $185,000 as an owner operator truck driver in the oilfield last year, lmao at plebs coming out of college making anything less then $100,000 a year. All that schooling and debt just to make an average tradie salary like $65,000 is a waste of time imo.

I am not a high-roller at all. However I did not study hard in my earlier years and have never had much career direction, just doing whatever paid the bills.

I was on minimum wage (or within 15% of it) for the best part of 10 years. Years that I will never get back.

Young miscers of under 25, don't be like me. Have some direction and focus and get that ballers job.

I make pretty good money. Well over 80k. Wife makes pretty good money well over 80k. No kids and sock lots of money away. still wouldn't get a lambo and hardly CEO 10k status.

I am very good friends with former MLBrs and have been with them when they withdrew 20k or more for 'walking around' cash.

Anything other than that is dreaming

Most miscers are like those people you see driving around in £60k cars whilst working in a callcentre.

Fake, shallow and pretentious.

Everyone on the misc is ceo and making six figures. There are real brahs on the forum who are millionaires. Got a pretty decent job with benefits as a college student. $20 an hour as an airport employee. Extra hours are always available. Fun and chill work environment. Once I graduate with my b.s. in computer science, that's when the real money comes srs

^This is a troll post but since people asked.

I manage a few departments at my hotel including the spa. This is a 4 star resort, not the Asian nail shop in your local strip mall, but our nail techs make ~$50k or more depending on their tips and how much they upsell.

Not bad for working 30 hours or less each week.

This is why reps are the true weight of a miscer.

On the misc you can drive a lambo and make $300,000/year while dating twin 10/10s, but can't hide that red cp boyo.
What sucks is that salary would put you barely above the poverty line in San Francisco.

You never see people here say they work average jobs like a state job or autozone etc.
That's because you live in Missouri or something. Try that salary in San Francisco or New York City. You'd be living in a cardboard box.

Salaries are relative to where you live (hopefully).

Since this is an internet forum, you'll see more computer literate people who work in IT, programmers, etc. People outside of the tech industry can barely turn a computer on, much less figure out how to post on here.
