UPDATING YOU BRAHS like 9-10 months later

Everything is fine, I was overreacting, grieving my first loss. Feelsgoodman I got through it, as soon as I was like 4-5 months in I stopped caring so much, checking her profile, etc.

Actually met up w/ her in person to catch up like two months ago, got some closure. We got back on "friend" terms, though we don't speak. I've slept with like 6-7 girls since then, didn't care for it much. She now has a new man I think, and it feels good not caring at all about it.

On to other things now. Focusing on work and lifting again. My ex was beautiful, smart, but I'm happy we broke up. She's changed a lot since we broke up, I don't think we were a good fit. SHe was pretending to be the girl I wanted, not the girl she is (at least that's how I see it now)

Good to hear you're feeling better. But always be careful around an ex. You never know when old feelings pop up again.
Some days you feel mentally over her, other days you end up missing her a lot. The mind can play tricks on you.
Also be wary about casually hooking up if the situation ever presents itself. The last thing you want is to catch feels all over again.

If you didn't breakup then you'd spend the rest of your life wondering 'what if?'. That **** is poisonous to your soul. Best you get it out of your system now. There's no gaurantee you'd be with this chick for life anyway, people change, situations change, etc.

Now stop being a mopey *******

If you break up with someone, it is for a reason. You don't break up with someone that checks all your boxes. You listened to your instincts. Turns out it was the right decision. Now move on and move forward like you have been.

But sleeping with a ton of chicks isn't going to fill any void.

But it hurts SO BADLY. A week after I broke up with her I have so many regrets. We have so many pictures together, so many amazing memories. She was my best friend, and my support. I was hers. I fked up near the end and told her she isn't worth fighting for. Now she's moving on for real.

I have no idea what to do. This was the first girl to show me love like that. My first relationship.I feel like I have this huge void in me now. From seeing somebody almost every day, sleeping together almost every night, to not seeing them at all. To them dissappearing in your life forever.

I'm completely distraught and I don't know what to do. We were trying to stay friends but I lashed out over txt drunk last night and now she blocked me too.

Crazy to think this girl was 150% devoted to me, called me her life partner, and I've pushed her away. Feels.

Open to any advice. Really need some love and help.

Its gonna be hard but over time you'll be able to forget about her and get over her. Sex with future sloots might be meaningless for you though until you meet your new woman one day

GJ dude. You did the right thing there. If there is ANY type of doubt, then you need to bail. Marrying someone with "what ifs" is dangerous.

Just don’t be like my friend who broke up with a girl who was amazing af, smart, funny, loyal, great career, wife material 100%, into fitness, WAY out of his league looks wise too. Basically every guy’s perfect girl and he dumped her for the stupidest fuking reason- because she confided one of her flaws to him which she was working on. Instead of fuking supporting her he dumped her ass for in response to her letting herself be vulnerable. Now she fixed that flaw with therapy and is married and he still sometimes talks about regretting his decision and it’s been like 10 years. It was the worst decision I have ever seen but he was too young, dumb, and inexperienced to appreciate what he had and I guess assumed there would be many more girls like that that even exist let alone be interested in him.
