My buddy asked me to put his sportster in my garage because its rusting out from under him in his driveway. Cheap mild steel fenders and battery cover are trashed. Even his year old chrome z-bars have a lot of pitting. Great high quality parts there. Extra heavy steel too just in case you want to accelerate a little slower.

I've had tons of bikes, never bought a harley. Fanboy neighbor of mine asked me if I'd be interested in buying his driveway ornament one day.

I said nah, I like riding motorcycles not wrenching on them every weekend. He didn't talk to me much after that.

I do like the way a harley engine sounds... when they actually run.

I ride, but I usually ride by myself now because there are a bunch of dip ****s.

Think of the honda civic meets, it's comparable nowadays when people buy broke down bikes and think they're the coolest kid on the block.

A lot of straight pipes on 600s etc

Now, I do ride very fast, lane split (illegal here) but I am generally pretty "safe" about it.

You can be going faster than the right lane while still holding up the left lane, and as soon as you're done passing someone you should move over. Where exactly did i misunderstand or fail to comprehend anything btw? all you said was 5-10mph over the limit, not 5-10mph faster than traffic. By your own post, if it'sfor passing OR faster moving traffic, only one of the conditions needs to be present. So if someone is trying to pass you, shouldn't matter how fast you're going. But instead of moving over to let someone pass, like the law intends the left lane to be used, you think it's more appropriate to slow down the flow of traffic, cause frustration in other drivers, and enforce the law yourself?

Alcohol and bikes do not mix. I'm sure the majority of bike fatalities are either caused from excessive speed or too much sauce. Usually a combination of both. A guard rail, tree, or telephone pole at highway speed is just going to turn you into a jigsaw puzzle.

Rode for 6-8 years, bright orange CBR 600 and Black ZX10r.

Entitled people exist everywhere, on bike and in cars, it's just more obvious when they are entitled and on a bike vs a car.
