Lol, it is tough being in that stage but I did miss it in the end so I made sure to appreciate it more the second time around.

But it's entirely possible that the newborn stage just wasn't for you and you'll never miss it I guess

Me either man. Newborn stage is for the woman to deal with. The age where they can learn to ride a bike, hold a fishing pole, shoot a 12 gauge shotgun, etc...approximately 4-5 years old...is where it starts getting good for dads.

So much this, my boy is 22 months old and I really wanted nothing to do with it for about 4 months it was 6 months until I really felt anything. I was depressed, mad, hated life every day was **** EVERY DAY.
I now have a 7 week old girl and it's the EXACT same feelings just even more intense because I just did this crap. Both kids planned I always wanted 2 very close to age as they will play together a lot.
Imagine if you had a 1 year old with your boy it would be pretty cool but it's a god damn GRIND.

Getting snipped in a month.

Congrats OP & hopefully your not like me and can deal with pathetic useless newborns because they are ****.
