The ad was actually put forth by the VP of P&G, a female. But you know good and well that most of the guys were on board too.

You can create your own quartz watch on there for about 100 bucks with his coupon code. His automatic ones that aren't the (Tonino Lambourghini spyder looking ones) are a couple hundred

Neat. It would be neat to have a nice watch for nice occasions but it will have to wait. Times are tough right now

Very interesting. Large company, lots of celebrities wearing their watches, and yet total silence from media...

Let's be real - they're just another company taking advantage of this opportunity to make a profit, not a point. The timing is perfect after all the Gillette controversy and this is their way of grabbing the attention.

Am I the only one who cringed?

I'm shocked at how many people care this deeply about the ad.

I didn't feel victimized in the slightest by the ad, I just thought it was stupid

Why not grab attention if you're this company?

Say I sell ice cream at a stand. I advertise each summer. One summer it's record heat. So I ramp up my advertising to let people know I exist. It doesn't mean I never sold ice cream, never loved selling it, am a fraud, etc.. But I can still let people who would not otherwise be interested know that I'm here, and I have the opportunity to be more profitable because of the gifts nature (gillette lol) gave me. I don't care why they did it, I found a company whose values I respect.

I feel like this dumb ass ad has gotten so many responses now that Gillette will consider it a success. It's like the NFL boycott all over again where people take their rightful opposition so over-the-top far that it backfires.

I agree, who gives a fukk what some man-hating feminazi ad creator says? Don't give her the satisfaction of pissing you off.

I prefer to leave the righteous indignation over media to the liberals.

What I find funny is that women (mostly feminists) appear to be the ones supporting Gillette's ad because of the "anti sexism", and yet Gillette sell a womens range called Venus which is two or three times more expensive than the mens range.
How dare you!

Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.

The Egard ad went viral.

Gillette stock down so far 1%

Egard started donating 10k to veterans due to success of their message.
