Raining and 48 degrees in Charlotte. Just left gym and it turns out the national spirit cheerleading championships are going on downtown. I have to say that 20,000 cheerleaders walking around with half their asses hanging out makes up for the Justin Timberlake cougar invasion last week.

i put some pork in the smoker and I think it turned out pretty well. Just letting it sit for a bit more before I pull it. I re-wrapped it in foil and it was falling apart as I moved it.

It's been warm here but rained constantly. I'm working on building a new bathroom vanity and have had to run out between showers to drag the planer out and get some boards ready.

Thought about it, but these girls just competed, however you compete in a cheerleader championship, and looked like the last thing they needed was some old creeper snapping pics to post on the internet

Post pics of course. I used poplar for my reloading bench and ammo cabinet and stained it a dark color. It turned out ok for my first time doing it. It's pretty neat looking after you put the pre-stain on it. Almost left it that color.

Yeah it can blotch real bad if you don't use a conditioner or shellac on it. Think I'm going to use that, then a dye stain to darken it up, then a wipe on stain to get it to the final color I want. I've also been reading about a technique called toning where you mix stain in with your topcoat and spray layers of it on until you get the desired color.

so, this old bitch i used to work with a long time ago posted pictures on social media of her participating in an anti gun feminist march....

unfriend...

funny story though, back when i worked with her, i was approximately 16 and she was in her 30s she told her friend she wanted to date me. when her friend approached me and suggested this i remarked that she was almost old enough to be my mother. her friend told her what i said and she cried over it. back then i felt guilty, but in retrospect im glad that happened. i hope she cries again when she sees i unfriended her.

I can't remember, do you have a home gym set up? I'm really liking being able to lift in my basement. Consistency has improved a lot.

yea ive been lifting primarily at home for years. current set up is an adjustable bench from decline to 90 degree millitary press, squat rack, pec deck machine and adjustable barbell and dumbells. bench also has a leg curl attachment that ive made use of.

need some kind of lat pull down machine and calf raise machine.

lifting at home is awesome, only advantage to lifting in a gym is being able to go after work and avoid sitting in traffic
