Episode 5

Spoiler!

Bit of a slower ep but the acting in the final scene was top notch. Roland is killing it in every scene.

Amelia turning out to be a bitch. She uses people, especially their misery. When she brought up the case during dinner at Rolands, I was like...u wot m8.

Speaking of the dinner though, Roland's GF, Lori, majored in poultry science? There's some strong theories that Hoyt's chicken factory is connected with the death of the Purcell boy and the disappearance of the girl. Possible connections to the overarching ped0 rig from S1 too.

I hope they use the next 3 eps to really ramp up the story

I read that theory and I really hope it isn't that. I mean that would be pretty bland considering the 1st season was exactly that. Someone connected to a wealthy family with local political/law enforcement connections. Yawn.

Ep 5 was very good, but I'm hoping for a surprising ending.

First episode I really enjoyed. Opening was great and the ending was good too. A little slow in the middle but at least it seems to be going somewhere.

I actually liked season 2 better than 3 so far.

I have no idea who was in charge of the intro music for this season, for example. Can't be the same guy as the first 2 seasons.

Season 3 is still good, but nothing about it is that interesting so far.

Yeah I watched the 5th episode. This point in the 1st season we had the thing with the skinhead/trucker gang and then the shootout on that farm.

Season 2 started out slow, but it really picked up in the 2nd half.

just watched episode 5.

no tiddies were seen. more confusing bs added to story. lots of switching back and forth between time lines.

When Amelia visited her she talked about how "kids should be laughing", echoing what the note said. Hays didn't realize this until he started reading the book where Amelia quoted her.

Yeah I don't understand why he went the slow burn route again. He had 2 years to make this season and I thought Season 2 felt more unique.

The Fargo creator did a better job of creating 3 seasons after a successful 1st season IMO.

Season 3 is having the same problem season 2 had..it's too deep into the episodes to just be spinning it's tires.

Progress the story.
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

id have to agree that if the next ep doesnt ramp up and start the "dash to the finish line," then we're in for an overall mediocre season

im over the Amelia and Purple domestic drama. We get it, they have issues. Let's move on

One thing that'll definitely be disappointing is if the next 2 eps are slow burn/buildup eps and then we get a cliffhanging season finale. Like, the storyshould be wrapped up. Not sure if pizza boy has confirmed that this season would be a single contained story.
