That's a typical Texas beach. They are nothing special. And definitely not like the ones further south. i.e. Mexico. The beaches in the Gulf of Mexico are dirty west of the Mississippi River and don't start to clear up till Mexico. The beaches east of the Mississippi are the blue water and white sand beaches.

Anyone remember the old Kappa beach party in Gtown? AKA black beach week. That chit was nuts. I got stuck in completely gridlocked I-45 traffic going into Galveston and there was a dude working a grill on the shoulder. lmao

Yea I guess due to social media and everyone wanting the one with "BREAKING NEWS" rumors got stirred up and spread around pretty quickly. This event and the arrests are nothing new though. It's always like this for any big bash @ crystal beach; Go Topless, Memorial Weekend ( yes watch there will be a sh*tton of people out there and still more arrests), July 4th, Labor Day, list goes on etc. They (county) can't stop any of it as it's public beaches and public events. You have to have a beach permit though to be on the beach with vehicle, but thats like $15 from any store, even the cops carry them to sell.
