Life is a torture for unattractive guys, its good that they have somewhere to vent.

And how old are these people you see? I see people who are 35+ who are bald,short etc with families all the time but if we are talking about people who are young born in 1990s and beyond I see pretty much only see atleast decent looking guys with gfs and wives. Obviously there are exceptions but the woman in my generation (born after 1995 or even in 90s) are much more ruthless,selective and shallow when it comes to finding partners (srs). Obviously this could be because they havent reached the age where their poosy starts to dry up so they have to lower their standards yet which I think plays a role.

A lot of average looking guys struggle to get laid due to competition. Now its common for one guy to have multiple girlfriends thanks to online dating and a more people moving to cities and going to very large public colleges where the options are endless. I read a stat. that says 25% of college seniors are virgins. This means that close to 40% of straight males are virgins.

Another issue is that the bottom 30% of young women are obese. This means that young men have problems dating because some men can't get hard on obesity.

Most women date out of their league, so if you are below average you literally have no options. Good luck finding a gf you are attracted to if you are 4/10 lol.

These dudes are hurting themselves more than any woman ever could by teaming up and jerking each other off with their forums/comments in support of their current lifestyles. MGTOW reddit comes to mind. Dudes legit hate women on there, but i can 100% guarantee that if you put a 7/10 in front of them that showed interest at all, their views would be flipped by tomorrow morning. It's a really sad community. Most of the guys have a common theme too... nerdy/gamer types, make a decent living, but have no social skills and physically they can't compete with average or above average guys because they are more interested in gaming/computer chit. Most of these incels never leave the plantation because of forums like reddit. They build themselves a comfortable little nest of negativity and hate towards women that won't show them the time of day. The more shocking part is that most of them are smart, but they lack the discipline and courage to step out of their comfort zones and improve their physical appearance and their social skills. These guys are the ones quoting marriage statistics and calling people "cucks" for having kids and a family. It's a really sad world to live in. It's just too bad they don't have the motivation to better themselves and realize that the meaning to life is building a relationship with a good woman, and passing on your genes through having kids. Every MGTOW/Incel type i've come across has this "forced" happiness vibe they try to portray, but they're truly dying on the inside.

Honestly even cockiness or arrogance will get you further than just being a anxious sad loser.

There is a thread in the Relationships section here on Misc where incels post their pics. The vast majority look like the types of guys you see all the time out and about with girlfriends and wives. Reading their posts, much of it seems to be a confidence issue, like their mindset is an inner monologue of them being the subject of a comedy roast or something.

What I noticed about quite a lot of the pics is that - while the chaps are often quite good looking - they almost look defeated. This would be a major body blow to their prospects in dating and meeting people. How women perceive them would change immeasurably if they looked more bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. The good news is this is more fixable than whatever it is they've convinced themselves is the issue (or, rather, let other incels convince them is the issue). Now they need people helping them believe this and their problems are indeed fixable instead of people on the incel forums etc telling them it's hopeless because they don't look like Chris Hemsworth.

Not necessarily. A woman who routinely "plays" in a high league by hanging out at bars til last call might not really be playing.

At any rate, the entire concept of leagues is over blown imo.

If we are talking just physical appearance only, I see people punch above their weight all the time. Personality, game, status, etc comes into it. Just because you score out of your league it doesn't mean you are on the same level, it just means you have some qualities or characteristics that draw people to you.

I'm a member of a very popular forum that regularly organizes local meetups. I haven't been to one in years but honestly forum denizens are pretty much a normal sample of humans unless a forum say is dedicated to FA/incel or another similar "cause".

it makes sense that it is a confidence issue.... these people have been degraded by their peers / family / society as a whole for as long as they can remember. Then they go to these forums where the same pessimistic stuff is repeated ad nauseum. Confidence is hard enough to build when things are going correctly in your life. Much much harder for these young men

Not only looks, in most couples the guy is superior to the woman on every level- looks, personality, social status, money, career etc. And the difference is not only 1 point, it can be even three points. Like you can often see a 9/10 guy date a 6/10 girl because he likes her personality etc. The other way around is much more rare. So if you are like an average or below average normal guy its literally impossible to compete. Unless you have a friend that can set you up with some cute girl and give you the social proof etc.

For example the three best tennis players ever are all married to girls that are nobodies. Federers wife is not even remotely attractive. Nadals girl is like a 6/10 and he used to be considered a super Chad in his 20s. Djokovics wife is quite attractive, but still she is like an 8/10 and he is a 9. We are talking guys that are billionares and world famous athletes. Tall and good looking. Even Ronaldo married some random girl working in a store.

On the other hand, you would NEVER see a regular normal guy dating some girl like Avril Lavigne or prime Jennifer Lopez. Its literally impossible.
