De Gea signs a new contract. Obviously got paid, but would have anywhere else too. Good to see there's still some loyalty and he wants to turn things around at United

I wouldn't say PSG "destroyed" Madrid who played without their best player too (Ramos), they definitely overran them in the midfield but on the run of play, the match could very well have been a draw, despite Real's subpar performance. 2 Real goals taken away by VAR(which I HATE), one of which would have been the goal of the tournament by Bale and it's only match day 1, and several great chances put just wide (one each from Bale, Benz, and Hazard). Ironically it was the former Real players on PSG who performed the best (Di Maria/Kaylor/Sarabia).

It was the first match for the HBB front and I think they looked good, just need some more time to gel together and if the midfield gets worked out I think Real will be hard to beat. They definitely looked much better than Barca did against Dortmund the night before but I chalk it all up to early season form with new players adapting to the team.

All in all a very exciting matchday 1 of the UCL!

We dominated Milan. Can't believe we got Godin and De Vrij for free. Skriniar cost nothing as well. Best signings were definitely Sensi and Barella though. Lukaku also had a great 2nd half. Lautaro still sucks.

Jury is still out on Lukaku though because he is yet to score against a Proper Big Team in a Crunch game.Lets see how he does against those before praising him i say!!

Liverpool should be able to handle Chelsea. They're not that impressive. Looking good so far but that Chelsea goal called back was soooooooooo tight.

Do any of you brahs watch handball?

I think football is a close second in terms of ref power and their perspective on the match ie influencing it. From the red card now for Arsenal to VAR nonsense all around to handball stuff to when VAR is used.

You either call everything the same way or you dont call it. You cant call 50%.

I actually dont know the rules anymore to this sport.

Happy we got the win but it was a very intense game.. Man United are so screwed.. And their manager now is showing how clueless and lacking of experience he really is. Playing Mata and matic is crazy. Basically got 0 experienced strikers now with Rashford injured as well because they sold Lukaku. They will be lucky to make top 6 this season.. scrap the top 4.
