My thinning is noticeable but I’ve grown my hair slightly longer so it’s still concealable when my hair is grown out. I will post pics if you want. But I haven’t been consistently taking the drugs which is why I haven’t been up to date with this thread.

I still don’t understand why people are hating on my glasses lmfao. These are an in-style frame right now. I see tons of male bodybuilders on Instagram wearing this style of eyeglasses. Yea the lens are big, but they’re not thickass bifocals. I get a wider field of view with bigger lenses. I think they make me look more mature lol

I’m gonna get a haircut at the end of this month and make a concentrated effort to routinely take the Fin and Rogaine for 3 months. I’ll see how much it helps and if it’s super noticeable then I’ll continue. Experiencing side effects, particularly with Rogaine were my only reservations. Since Rogaine is a vasodilator one of the side effects are listed as dizziness, feeling faint, and potential heart complications. I’m not predisposed to any of that I’m relatively healthy. It’s still off-putting though.

Current NW3 with genes on both sides to go IV with full vertex balding.

Want to avoid transplant until crown clearly goes.

Any other recommendations other than fin, minox, ketaconazole?

Cliffs on which vitamins & supps can help.

I’m gonna look into those vitamins, the reviews have said good things. If I can avoid using medications or drugs I would want to do that.

lol while it's not good to be thinning at this age that's really quite nothing. Most men are going to have thinning which is easily covered up by other hair. The only way to notice it if someone stands above and peers down while there's a lot of lighting.

I would monitor it closely and if it starts accelerating at all then go to the doctor.

Also, you apparently can get temporary hair thinning from friction from like headphone sets called Alopecia. The science is a bit undecided on it, but look into anything giving your hair constant friction. Massage your scalp in the shower, eat better, sleep more, drink more water.

I looked at photos from 2-4 months prior and my hair wasn’t nearly as thin. I wonder if my diet is possibly the cause. I have been getting most of the protein in my diet from supplements but overall I’m still eating Whole Foods, even when I eat out at restaurants. Either way I resumed taking a men’s one a day vitamin today just in case. Will monitor my progress
What happens is your testosterone gets turned into dht and this attacks the hairs with dht receptors (on top of the head)

The hairs on the side don’t usually have these receptors so that’s why you see guys going bald on top but not the side

Fin stops this process , the hairs that are thinning should return to normal given enough time

A lot of The hairs that have disappeared are just sat under the scalp as they have thinned so much they aren’t visible anymore, these will come back through

The ones you have lost for good apparently don’t come back and that’s where the transplant comes in, which is why getting on fin ASAP is important for most guys with thinning hair

During my Hair transplant hair was taken from the back and placed in the top, these hairs cannot be affected by the dht as they lack receptors

These new hairs will shed over the first 3 months

6-12 months later you get full growth of the new hairs, paired with the fin you can see good results

All surgery is a risk though of course

3 month update, I've grown my hair longer and I've been taking Finasteride everyday since April. Also using Ketaconazole Shampoo every other day. Using only Fin probably won't notice any significant results until the 1 year mark.

Been taking Fin everyday since April. Not sure if this is notable progress or not.

Top is current, bottom was taken in April.
