It's just a standalone filler episode they used to introduce Gina's character. I doubt any of it ties into the main plot.

The acting is cringe overload

It’s a poormans firefly and if it didn’t have the star wars tag attached to it, would be a total failure

It's good, but it feels like a videogame script lol. There isn't enough drama, and the plot is very idk how to describe it...breadcrumb like? It feels more like a videogame story than a TV show. Still, they put a lot of work into building the setting and stuff. It feels authentic Star Wars. I enjoyed it.

Also Mando is a confirmed incel.

5th ep was better than the 4th... but I didn't like it as much as the first 3.

I'm starting to wonder if the show hasn't peaked already.

they ****ed it up by killing off ming-na wen so fast. actually they ****ed her character hard. it's unbelievable that an elite mercenary that even the mandalorian fears, that made her name killing for all the TOP CRIME SYNDICATES, was able to be held captive by a ROOKIE on his first job, he's not even been a bounty hunter, just a regular dude trying to become a bounty hunter. lol

made no sense. she would of been able to kick his gun away as it was shown that she's a beast in martial arts and **** him up.

they should have characters join the mandalorian or have recurring characters.
There is only one Hell: the one we live in now.

Don't get all the criticism of the show. Been loving it so far and not even a Star Wars fan. Episode 7 was probably the best one so far

Episode summary pertaining to story arc:

1 - Intro characters, Mando acquires The Child.
2 - Mostly filler, The Child uses The Force.
3 - Mando returns The Child for bounty, changes mind, becomes a fugitive.
4 - Mostly filler, The Child is still being hunted.
5 - All filler.
6 - All filler.
7 - Mando goes to desperate lengths to stop The Child from being hunted.

Love the show but you could watch episodes 1, 3 and 7 and not miss much from a story arc standpoint.
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

You're not wrong about 1, 3, 7, and now 8 being the primary plot points. Perhaps some of the filler episodes' characters will reappear in the next season (confirmed for Fall 2020).

EPS 7 and 8 were much better.... thank god. Really enjoyed the return of the little guy and his “nanny droid”. The prison break one was fun too (lol’d hard at Bill Burr getting a major role).

That female Mandalorian forger chick is fukkin badazz.

Decent show, didn't feel any gravity with the "deaths" seems a bit like sesame street with guns with all the muppets and robots.

Just finished it, I'm very pleased with the show. This was an experiment to see if smaller scale star wars adventures could pull in the views and it was a massive success. Of course if you followed SW content pre 2015 you knew that was the case already. It bucks the whole RedLetterMedia theory that Star Wars can't come up with something new and requires "lightsabers!/Death Stars!/Darth Vader!".

Now they can be even more ambitious in the next season.

btw what's this guy's misc username?

Wonder if Chris Pratt was the cause of this.
