This is bad, when I was a kid, easter egg hunts were the little eggs with a piece of cheap ass candy in it. Now kids are watching literal advertisements on youtube where this family apparently sell these eggs for like $60 each.... with complete rip off dollar store quality toys inside and terrible amazon reviews but people I guess just put it on their credit card and order one to shut up their kid who wont stop begging them about it.

Im sure when TV and childrens TV first came out, people were upset and concerned it would ruin children's minds... if those same people could only see how much worse its gotten with kids having phones and tablets and watching this internet bullchit.

They will still do the "shows". They are basically advertising their own branded toys. Those eggs in the video, they are selling them for like $60 an egg on amazon.

First my son watched only "Peppa pig" which was actually pretty funny and I could watch it with him. Then last year he was all about "sponge bob", also sometimes funny and I could watch it.

Now it's "Ryan" and I just can't watch, I dont understand what he sees in it. I dont see it as harmful, just pointless and boring.

Isn't that family wrapped up in their own lawsuit as it is? Something about not having a disclaimer that the products reviewed are sponsored misleading consumer into believing it's organic content (eg the kid is just having fun with the toys vs gifted/paid to him for publicity)

Kids love watching things being unboxed, just watch them when you're at a birthday party/Christmas. It's basically that stimulation on loop for eternity.

Kid making that much in endorsements/advertising alone. We all know youtubers make peanuts just from getting high subscriber/view counts.

Really puts into perspective how much corporations are actually making in relation to the wagies they pay min. wage

those parents are the brains behind that operation.

but lets be honest.

there is a market for everything.

I mean just think of all the idiots that watch some other youtuber playing video games.

.............

now imagine how many channels are there trying to do same thing that kid is doing.

unboxing toys.

but getting 100 views.
