Because of scumbags/ degenerates like the OP.

Never tried uber eats. Tried postmate and grubhub. And just lol @ all these fee's. Fee's and tips were pretty much as much as the food. Order for pick up. And when paying with card. Machine asks how much u wanna tip for picking up ur food just lol. This tipping chit is getting out of control.

Same can be said for Uber/ Paypal/ Ebay. Platforms that charge a lot of fees from people who have no other alternative.

Learned from VISA and Mastercard who provide a payments platform when cash was already pretty good.

And those wings when they arrive instead of being hot and crispy they are warm and soggy.

Uber eats is the worst thing to happen to food in the past 30 years. Phucking lazy fat chits at home waiting to pay 30% extra to get luke warm food and inflate the line ups for respectable patrons wanting to eat hot fresh food.

Uber eats is for animals with no dignity.

If youโ€™re ordering small amounts of food through this chit youโ€™re kinda doing it wrong. The fees donโ€™t scale with the size of the order, though the tip obviously does. Order enough food for at least 2 dinners to maximize your food:fee ratios

I consider this one of the ultimate luxuries

Conveince cost money. I mean you're literally having someone drive to pick up your food and bring it to you.

Using regular Uber cost way more thna driving your own care too.

It's funny how valuable people delude themselves into thinking how valuable their time is.

BRB I don't have five minutes to pick up food cause I'm busy binge watching some show.

So like you wasted so much time you don't have any to waste?

Or you don't have time to waste cause you're busy wasting time?

So your food was around $25 including tax
Charged $10 for delivery
Company probably took $2
Gas took $2+ wear and tear on their car

So $6 for 30 minutes of time that person spent but you're going to be a whiny ****. What you think someone's going to deliver for you for $3? Get off the couch next time.

Iโ€™ve only ordered UberEats once(when I was really hungover on a football Saturday), and ended up ordering like $25 of McDonalds. It was surprisingly awesome when it got to me, and I was really happy with it.

I can afford it, but I honestly order delivery like 5 or fewer times per year nowadays. Iโ€™m usually looking for reasons to leave the house anyways, and it doesnโ€™t hurt that I can always find a decent meal for like $7-8 within a 5 min drive.

I only order ubereats/grubhub in these few scenearios:

1) I can expense it through work
2) There's a promo - Ubereats just added 10 off 30 to my acc for next 5 orders
3) Super ****ty weather and I really can't be bothered

I'll never understand people that uses ubereats for drive thru restaurants... the convienence of a drive thru is enough for me to get in my car.
