i'd imagine all the tourist places are closed and there's a strict curfew for restaurants/bars.

stayed at a 5-star hotel in the middle of florence for 3 nights courtesy of her dad. You can see the duomo behind her) and we were upgraded to the suite for free. only 6 rooms out of 70 were taken because no tourists.
pretty much had the entire city of florence to ourselves. I had to end my trip 2 days earlier and come home because getting a flight back would have been miserable if i didnt due to airports shutting down etc.

Girlfriend was going to come back and move to the USA with me but a one way ticket was like $5k if she bought at the same time i was leaving because of people trying to book last minute tickets. She decided as soon as trump lifts the travel ban, she will buy a one way ticket to america and quit her job and move in with me. so in a few weeks hopefully.

haha i made it back home on the 13th. Originally my flight was for the 15th but delta was cancelling almost all flights and i had to leave 2 days earlier in order to get a seat back to america.

trip was incredible. She decided she wants to move to the USA to be with me as soon as the 30 day travel ban ends. We went to florence and cinque terre and camogli. had the entire country to ourselves pretty much. amazing weather, sunny almost every day, incredible food. **** load of lasagne and seafood, etc. trip ended 2 days earlier because of travel bans back to america and flight cancellations occuring so i had to act quick to be able to make it home. No virus, zero symptoms nothing at all. would do again.

she worked at the same place as my cousin in Paris and they became best friends. I went back to Lebanon last year to visit family and my cousin made the trip to come see me, this girl wanted to come also and thats how we met for the first time. Instantly fell for each other.
