If the higher ups supported it and someone jumped into the crocodile infested river first it could all change back. Sure, it would be anarchy for a while, even years of chaos making people wanting to abandon, but if men were concerted they could take it all back and there would be no-one to stop them. I am not talking about make women subservient, I am talking about taking it back and making everyone accountable for what they have to offer. I never saw any great benefits to getting married. I saw how my dad and his wife fought all the time and it turned me off from marriage. I think a lot of people grew up seeing their married parents fight and it ultimately ended up in a trainwreck divorce so they figure its just not worth it going through the same thing. Even if I found a woman I thought was worth marrying I still wouldn't take the gamble

It's not sustainable in what has been the prevalent vision for our society, but that vision is changing. Technology is speeding up our transition to ultra liberalism, but it's been happening for 100+ years already. Every recent generation has been far more degenerate than the one before.

Organized religion will be completely gone within a few more generations and the penalty for any right wing thoughts will be severe (loss of income, ostracized from social groups, no sloot will let you bang, etc.). There will always be small groups of right wing thoughts like misc, but only if users can remain anonymous and it'll never be mainstream again.

Liberals hardly have children. It's conservative/traditional people who still have children, these cultures will dominate in the future unless they will become "liberal" too. (and then another more conservative culture will take over again)

So you're saying disruptive new technologies will doom us to stay liberal? I strongly doubt that, you over estimate the power of silicon valley. And the culture these tech companies are promoting is destructive to anyone that follows them, like I said liberals don't have enough children. Even the people liberals import have conservative values.

If you're talking about AI, VR, automation,... I don't see how those will doom us to stay liberal though. Or are you scared about twitter mobs,... that will pressure your employer to fire you if you dare to support traditional points of view?

Nothing needs to change. This is good news. Most likely the people not getting married shouldn’t be getting married in the first place. Marriage isn’t for everyone and this is coming from someone who is happily married.

i think that has a lot less to do with it than birth control.

women have always had options, but the risk of pregnancy is what makes them more timid and selective. cause that means who she fuks with might make her pregnant
