they very well should be protesting. most filipinos are low key racist and even hate their own dark skin. filipino media is predominantly light skinned and people there use soap that supposedly lightens skin. I cant even count how many times i've been to family gatherings and the aunties/cousins talk chit because someone in the family is dating a black. sure, they love black athlete and celebs but the minute someone in the family is dating a black guy, the **** talking ensues.
