Depends on the context of the observation.

If it's in response to the cop basically murdering Floyd in the street, saying 'yeah but he was a POS' is cop boot-licking irrelevance.

If it's in response to Floyd being memorialised as black Jesus, it's completely valid.

Because we already know that Chauvin is a POS. The media has gone over everything him and Tou Thao has done hundreds of times. We've already heard it dozens of times.

But the media says nothing about George Floyd's past. In fact when I first saw the incident, I remember talking to my mom and saying they just killed a guy for just mistakenly using a fake note to buy cigarettes and who was just minding his own business.
The media said nothing about his history or his drug use and I didn't even hear about it until Candice Owens made a video about it.

Not that any of that exonerates the cops.. If anything they had more responsibility to help someone going through a drug-induced medical situation not step on their neck until he died.

But the media's motives are incredibly clear.
