OP, you honestly didn't strike me as someone who had difficulty connecting with other people. One easy way to sort for me would be: anyone who writes "idk bb wat u up 2" - I'd block/sever instantly. Waste of time.

I've made a lot of connections. Like I have one girl who's gonna come over and watch anime and such. It's more leading into the down and dirty. Like right now it just seems to be here's some girls that are into me, but may not be into my husband.

I hit my goal weight but now I'm shedding a bit more.
Even though I've lost a lot of weight I still have some soft spots in my stomach I'm trying to work on.
I'm working on losing about 15 more pounds.

I think it's the same. I picked up girls at bars, libraries, coffee shops...either within minutes or after an encounter or two.

I used my brother's tinder a while back and just imagine that you're sitting at a bar with someone when you type - and proceed from there. I find it disgusting tbh...I much prefer picking someone up "organically", but I suppose dating apps are a necessary evil for some these days.

I'd say that's definitely a typical scenario (I have a lot of poly friends and see it way too often).
We started out poly ages ago. It started out as a threesome and I found that girls fulfill something different that my husband can't. Like talking about makeup or watching cheesy movies or whatever.

I don't have any insecurities with him and it would have happened a long time ago if I did. If we are ever uneasy about the situation we discuss it and the third party is let go. There's been a couple of girls that got too attached to only me or him and that didn't work for us.

I have a lot of mental problems so maybe that's the root of all of this, but so far it's worked out well enough.

To each there own. Just had many friends ruin their lives over trying it. Maybe he should be the one picking up girls on tinder with the hint of bringing you in? Would be an easier transition of girl on girl with her already interested in your guy, rather than a girl looking for a girl and you throwing a man in.

We tried that and got no responses.
I've got 24 matches so far that I'm talking to. We want to actually date this time around so I don't mind chatting a bit. It's just weird carrying the conversation on an app. Plus a lot of girls only write one word responses so it's hard to get to know them.

There's been a couple of girls that are super forward but back out when I ask them to get tested. I'm not about the STD life.

It's easier for the girl to pick up a girl. When I used to search for a unicorn, I would always get hit with a "I'm not here for that" or just an instant block. Did find a couple unicorns on OKCupid (this was back in like 2011 lol) and that was by flattering (not necessarily complimenting). Stuff like "Me and my girlfriend find you hot" and all that.
