Logical conclusion would be she did so because she felt threatened. While she did yell "Don't you fuking jump behind my car" that was in response to being accused of hitting the other woman with her car. You can argue that it was stupid for her to get out of the vehicle, but I don't think it's a reach to say she chose that option as pure self defense and thought it was the best option.
What also needs to be taken into context here are two things.

1. Who was the aggressor? Clearly the two black people.

2. Does the fact that for the past 40 days this country has had numerous occasions caught on video where protestors/rioters attack a car and on more than a few occasions the occupants of the car were either injured or killed affect the woman's thinking at the time?


Those things will clearly play a factor here. Neither will be going to jail.

And the fact that the man was fired? I would think he will be suing for a fair amount of money soon.

She was threatened multiple times with "im gonna beat your white ass," was held hostage (any attempt to leave was blocked by the black lady) and was in an extremely compromised position (sat down in a car) when the black lady attacked their vehicle and threatened them. I would say at this point she should have shot her.

From the info available, it looks like the black family were basically looking for an opportunity to start chit given the current climate. They saw their opportunity when a white woman bumped into their daughter. They then proceeded to follow the couple to their car, threatening them, then even make the situation worse by trying to stop them from leaving.

The woman was justified in pulling her gun as an act of self-defence. No surprise to see the media take sides and try to make the black family into victims. The black family most likely felt invincible by all the kowtowing they've been swamped with recently.
