Yeah I can imagine physical withdrawals are a lot different than urges to drink I guess.

People won't peer pressure you to drink if you have a cocktail in your hand, they don't have to know it's w/o booze.

Intelligent idea. I forgot about that eliminating the peer pressure part.

Awesome Job OP, keep it up.

I drank a too much during the quarantine. I bought a PS4 for some entertainment while staying at home. Literally the only thing I wanted to do was drink 5-8 strong beers and play Red Dead Redemption 2. I did this every other day for a couple months. Sometimes taking 3 days off at most. Something about playing that game and drinking... I couldn't get enough. Recently beat the game and now do not have as much of a desire to drink haha. It's weird. When I beat the game, I actually didn't realize it until the next day. Popped the game in and it was over. I had forgotten I f'n beat it the night before. Drinking while playing a good video game is my downfall.

Tanqueray Gin, New Amsterdam Vodka or Don Jimador tequila.

Just typing that makes me queasy.

Reps to you bro. How did you handle the impulses to drink and those thoughts of "i'll just have a few" or "just tonight only and none tomorrow." When you had the urges to drink did it seem like someone external was egging you on to do something against your best interests?

Time sink.

However, I got 1st place multiple times in many different games. It's a fun game.

I didn't get any work done, however, so it had to go. Only got it to pass the time during initial stages of COVID.

I need to get to 170lbs by 8/8, the date of my trip to Mexico. Currently sitting at 186.

Every drink is an impediment to the finish.
