Oh i'm very well aware, as a performance piece, its a beast. Its just everything on the exterior. Its just....too much for me.

oh and the 2021 also added that cringey fake engine noise that comes out of the vents which is also a turn off.

Tons of reasons why manuals are superior to autos.

Can roll-start them if your battery goes flat or starter dies

If you break a gear the remaining gears can still be used to get you home

Heaps of warning before the clutch goes

For a given transmission size can get more gear ratios

More compact and lighter

Handle more power than the equivalent Slushbox
Etc etc

They're a bit more tricky though. There's usually a button on the shifter that you have to push in before it will move.

Do they handle more power nowdays, really?

I think the autoboxes can take more power these days... an Example is a BMW 335d, it never came with manual transmission because the torque would destroy the clutch, yet the slush box can take it happily even with a tune.

The 10 speed in the camaro and 5.0 can handle 900+ HP to the wheels and as much torque.

Bmw skimps in the rating of the ZF8 they put in their cars because they hate tuners, but the chevy/Ford 10 speed is a beast

Was hoping someone else caught this as well.

Also, lol @ 3st worlders daily driving manuals. I love a manual for a weekend cruiser/play car but for a DD auto is the only way to go, especially if you have a lot of traffic in your daily commute.

This is a stretch. The shifts may be done by hand but that's where any resemblances between them and a road going manual transmission end.
