Honestly, if my husband left me while I was as fat as I was, I wouldn't have been surprised.

I was almost addicted to food once I could eat again without feeling sick. Like I never put down a fork. It was insane. I've heard that it's really common in women with bad morning sickness to gain quite a bit after kids. I had to legit work with my therapist to start actually losing.

The reason to divorce usually should coincide with the breaking of the promise of marriage. Two people who come together to get married usually have a set of ideals, goals, and trust/understanding of what each other wants and needs. If one of them breaks that, there is usually grounds to divorce.

I actually think vows are more important in this than I have ever thought. I used to think vows were just something you said to get married, but the promise of them means much more than any piece of paper.

This. However, this should be talked about in the open. The people who usually stay in shape after kids are the people who make exercise and healthy living a part of their daily life. All of my older cousins did this, and are all in shape post kids because they both valued being healthy, and incorporated that in their daily life TOGETHER.
