Lawd no punches were pulled right from the start. I did find it strange they didn't explain Crusch's arm, but I guess reattaching arms isn't a big deal in this world?

Why were all the carriages traveling separately in the first place? I kept waiting for Wilhelm and the others to show up and help.

Not sure why Roswaald would give instructions for Emilia to be led to the Sanctuary. I guess it was his plan to get out, but he's risking Emilia getting trapped there too if she can't pass the trial.

Echidna seems interesting, looking forward to seeing more of her.

Looking forward to seeing Subaru's HikkiNEET life, his family actually seems cool.


Also gonna be watching Food Wars, SAO, and Oregairu... need to get caught up on those now

On the bright side, they're actually going to voice her now they've decided to finally give her a VA again after Kawai Eri and Tomoko Kawakami's deaths. They've got Rina Satou voicing her, but I'll be surprised they'll get her to sing, there's a lot to live up to.

I skimmed through the manga just to see how it is.


My take-aways,

- MC is a Beta POS. Typical harem story though, so to be expected.

- The girls are all cute, despite their flaws.

- The manga is surprisingly lewd at times.

- Sumi needs to be protected. Light at the end of a dark tunnel kind of girl.

- Best girl hands down is Ruka.

Finished the Goblin Slayer movie.

Pretty enjoyable, but got to ding it a full point for having a 25 minute re-cap with reused footage in a movie though.

fuark brahs, the moment ****gy subaru started crying because he wouldnt be able to see his parents again to repay their love hit me hard, i wasn't expecting his life before getting isekaied to be like that, dem feels at how her mom and dad are probably still waiting for him to get back from the convenience store but their ****gy son is dying in horrible ways in another world, i hope we get to see more of his mom and dad.
