People with poor self-awareness will suffer from the dunning-kruegger effect. Most people I know have that lol.

You want to take a good dose of reality and know your actual worth? Gauge the reaction others have around that particular skill you think you have or trait you excel at.

Do you thing you are very intelligent? Well do people other than your parents tell you that you are very intelligent often? Do people come to you for advice or help? Are you doing anything worthy with said intelligence? You better have at least 2 out of those 3 if you want to believe you are truly intelligent.

You think you are a Chad/great looking? Well are you fuking hot chicks often? People tell you you are good looking other than your parents? That’s it, no bull**** about beard or eyelashes (wtf)

You think you are funny? Well do people laugh their assess off often when you are being cheeky?

You think you are high value and deserve to marry a six figures tall good looking man? Well how many of those have asked you out lately? How many of those have made you their gf? How many of these man are taking the initiative to see you often even in non-sexual situations?

Life is pretty easy to figure out when you stick your head out of your bubble
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

If you lock eyes with a woman repeatedly, its either she is very attracted to you or shes frightened by you and thinks you are a creep. If you can differentiate between those two and whats her reason, then its probably the latter one lol.

edit:

To add to this, i would say that whenever you find yourself at a social situation like a club, bar, or even the gym and you feel like approaching a girl you like, i would ask you first if you have caught her looking at you. If you havent really made eye contact with a girl, i wouldnt approach her, chances are she inst interested nor attracted to you.

If you find a girl you like looking at you often, making eye contact and holding it etc, thats a clear sign of attraction and you should 100% approach. If a girl has noticed you and looks at you, she is letting you know she has noticed you. If she hasnt, i doubt shes going to give you the time of day
Pseudo science bull**** at best and I’m pretty sure you’re a really good looking dude and you know better than to spread that misinformation

“IOIs” don’t mean anything lmao and can mean the exact opposite

A woman can keep looking at you for any ****ing reason dude

She could like the band on your shirt

She could think you’re a Ugly creep like you said

She could keep looking at you because she thinks you’re a hobo

She could keep looking at you in disgust because you’re a tradie and dirty carhartts/ high vis shirts stick out

Women really hate anyone who appears lower class than CEO 10k a day srs ( not to say skilled tradies don’t make good money)

She could be looking past you

I mean do I need to keep going?

or are you gonna try to bull**** me about “missed opportunities” because of some retarded pseudo science ?

What do you do with this info though? Lol. Once you've garnered the knowledge that you're not a Chad nor in the intellectual 1st percentile? I think most guys are aware of this and more suffer from under rather than overconfidence.

Well, who knows lol, that depends on the person.

Unrealistic expectations will lead to a disappointing life and a lot of wasted time more often than not.

Edit: to the guy quoting me saying eye contact doesn’t mean ****... I’m not even gonna bother.

If I had a dollar for every time i’ve been called handsome or complimented on my jawline, i’d be ceo 10k a day status. Being called handsome isn’t as good as being called hot according to misc. Perhaps i’m a hideous deformed sea creature and women feel the need to comfort and nurture me with unsolicited “handsome” comments to make me feel better about myself.

Sloots on tinder have told me they thought I was fake because of how cute or handsome I appeared. All my photos are of my face with goofy expressions. I don’t really take em seriously because sloots lie and sloots gunna sloot.

A handful of sloots have told me i’m better looking in person. One in particular saw me once when she was drunk and I quote her “Tehehehe you’re so much prettier in person” when we met up again. I told her I applied extra make up that I got in the arts and crafts section of staples.
