Yes I think that's pretty obvious. US has the deepest pool of athletic talent in the world, by FAR. Even if the US had our B grade athletes play soccer, guys who couldn't make it in the NFL - they would mop the floor in rugby, soccer, cricket, and whatever else poverty countries play. Imagine guys like DK Metcalf, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, Kobe, Calvin Johnson, etc. - that tier of athlete only exists in the US.
