Lots of reasons. One of my favorite is that I would rather business leaders reinvest earnings back into their businesses or the economy how they see fit, instead of give it to blood sucking politicians and bureaucrats. People act like government is some wonderful, fix all the worlds problems kind of place. These people are complete monsters, especially in large cities.

Why dont they pay taxes? Tax sheltered accounts, money going into LLCs and businesses that all reinvest in themselves.

How about the govt cut useless and ineffective programs? Or sending billions of dollars overseas? Maybe stop pork and barrel programs?

Taxing the rich, no matter how rich they are, sends the wrong signal. Why would you want to punish people for being too successful?
