So far I've worn it a couple times and it's a great scent. I don't get much fig or tobacco, but more black tea with a woody dry down (cedarwood). The tea note reminds me of Gucci Pour Homme II (one of my favorite scents). I get average longevity (6 to 8 hours) with moderate projection.

Moderate sweetness? Sounds super interesting as I don't think I have anything with tea.

The opening of Thé Noir 29 reminds me of Rose 31 by Le Labo. I don't get very much sweetness (sugary) if any, but more floral in the opening with a strong black tea note. I find this easier to wear than Rose 31.

hey fellas, so Goodvibesperfumes is having a v-day sale right now and you can get both their frags for 89.99 (120ml total juice) If anyone is interested, I also have a one time use 25% off code that i just checked via my cart that works still that brings it to 67.xx total.

I got the code after they messed up on my x-mas order slightly, their juice is really nice and the Caribbean lime is going to be a killer in summer. Just let me know, i'd use the code but i have 3 60mls of lime and 1 60ml of 100.

SOTD: Versace Eros

Still conflicted on this scent. Not a huge fan of vanilla, but I love it's performance along with the green and aromatic notes. Women love it. Serves a similar purpose to Invictus Legend, the other "club fragrance" in my collection. Can't decided which I like more.

Misc I wanna buy a new bottle. Two primary considerations are Dior Sauvage or YSL Y EDP. I love blue fragrances. But I've already got Versace Dylan Blue and ADG Profumo. Don't want to get either of those if they'll be redundant.

Thoughts?

Not worth it. It smells okay, but it’s really weak in performance. Would stick with the original 1 Million and kinda wish I bought that instead as I think it’s a (million)(pun intended) times better

@SSM12 you are pulling all the compliments man damn.

@severagee if I didn't have the others I'd go for Y EDP. But since I find Sauvage more different from the rest I'd go Sauvage.

Tested the extrait yet? Papillo loves it and nichecels love it but when I research further I hear it described as strong on the earthy vetiver and I'm not sure if that's as wearable as the cologne.

ya it is the extrait. I sold the cologne version quite sometime ago to buy this. Vet is more pronounced but i think still wearable however i like vet. You may prefer the cologne version if you dont care for vet.

I don't know what to believe anymore. I'll order a sample. I like vet but not if it gets too pungent. Plus I like the little bit of fruity sweetness in the cologne. I'll see. Definitely have Enigma up there too but I should really just get samples first.

Haha most "nichcels" trash it because its too "basic" according to them. The main reason i like it as its easy to wear. I dont really get Vetiver from it to be honest.

Haha, i like to be all over the board as far as the types. Some get used more than others. Especially the fresher summery ones as I live in warm clients

My first ones were BdC original when it was first released. Then La Nuit. Then Sauvage. Just based on smell. It’s only been in the recent years that I’ve really researched, and collected. First cologne video on yt I ever watched they had mentioned those 3 as being great scents and it just so happened I had owned them based on my own choosing.

Also guilty of impulse buying, but it could definitely be worse

I see praise on fragrantica that it's deeper and richer and more earthy than the PC which is too basic for them idk. Also lots of people say it's very vetiver heavy.

Then I go on yootube and 2 ******* reviewers say they smell the same. I'll have to test I think.

Yep i started off with the hype designers too. Back in the earlies when I started posting in the MCC I was on that la nuit and CH Men hype. Not gonna lie they still blow my mind along with Sauvage. I actually never had a problem with Sauvage. I love eating spicy foods so I always mire the pepper notes.

All that said, why no Ch men in your collection?

SOTD: cédrat Boise

I still feel like I’m missing something out of my 7 fragrances

Invictus
Dylan blue
La nuit
The one edp
Prada lhomme
Cédrat Boise
Cdnim

I still feel like I need a tobacco vanilla type scent and maybe a nice aquatic scent for summer?

I tried azzaro wanted and quite liked it but felt it was a tad too sweet and not tobacco enough, currently considering Lalique or intemporal.

Anyone have suggestions as too any gaps in the above?

Herod or Naxos or Pure Havane for tobacco

Want to pull the trigger on something good.
Suggestions? Love to try a new house like Penhaligons or that Roma one.
