It’s obvious everyone’s holding it right now because of price appreciation in the future use common sense. This is where we were in the 90s with the Internet no one was buying **** on there and look what people are doing with it now. Give it a decade people will be transacting with it just like anything else you will see maybe you wont because you’re so simple minded

going by the blockchain graph, bitcoin is doing on average 5 transactions per second. in comparison visa does 17000. yes i know people have been saying for 5 years that lightning network is just around the corner, but with bitcoin if you want speed it will sacrifice security

You do realize apple is becoming an exchange for crypto and will begin accepting it as a form of payment right? As well as mastercard accepting it as a form of payment? Next will be visa, then discover, then AMEX.

Lightning or other layer 2 solutions that will be developed will be the solution. We are in the infancy stage stoll and even at infancy we have these price levels. It’s goinf to psychotic levels.

Nothing yet because I’m holding because of the price appreciation. Doesn’t mean it won’t in the future. Once again you’re simple minded as chit thinking what’s going on now will be whats going on in the future. Now that Apple Pay and Samsung Android pay can use bitcoin to pay as of this week this is going to change fir a lot of people. There’s something called adoption. Plus with my stack I won’t be spending it until I’m earning interest on it and will use the interest to pay for stuff.

Uh uh criminal activity for btc is under % of all transactions now a days. Plus as adoption increases price appreciation gets to where it will be people will use it. People just don’t want to spend something that will be 1000x higher in a decade. Just think out a decade when adoption goes from 1% to 50% of globe. It will be used a lot.

Bitcoin is stuck between two worlds. On one end I can’t see the average boomer or woman putting their life savings into something that can disappear if they forget their password or type in a wrong address.

On the other end early adopters aka the ones with the most coins are using it as a store of wealth and people that have the tech know how and brought in early probably aren’t too keen on the increasing regulations and control being put in place

Bitcoin is the bridge to a new currency, it’s not the new currency.

Also tell me what happens when we go to a digital currency and the gov announces negative interest rates. Poof your money is gone
