I think the difference here is the enjoyment these folks were getting out of doing that. The croc has got to eat, but it's ****ed up that people are laughing at something in pain.

Please, youtube is literally filled with videos of people feeding live animals to predators for entertainment. I just saw a live chick fed to a bullfrog. If I can not act like a ******* from that as an avid bird lover, you can not act like a ******* as someone who eats bacon and couldn't care less about a hog.

Woah woah, bro, relax. You wanted an explanation, and I gave what I believe is an explanation.

Another way to look at what I'm saying is this: I don't get enjoyment from the killing of animals for factory farming. It needs to be done. On the contrary, there is something sadistic about people getting enjoyment from feeding that pig to the croc.

It was kind of funny how the two marshmallows floated by the hog at the end, like they were mocking him in unison.

but this is in the wild its not factory farms. those crocs are going to target those pigs regardless if they would have been baited like that, it's likely at least some of them are going to get eaten at some point. also they are distributing the ecosystem they shouldn't be there in louisiana. yes its still messed up, just dont think its as messed up as some making it out to be

^Agreed. It's kind of barbaric to bait the thing into getting wrecked by an alligator like that. It's just bloodlust at the end of the day. Yet, I still watched it and found it entertaining. Smdh.

That’s a cuck vegan/vegetarian view.

Don’t eat meat you bigot, cows have feelings. Meanwhile millions of birds, mice, varmint and other wildlife die to factory farming every year and millions more are displaced for farm land.

These are the same dumb fuks that push for solar panels and wind turbines because they are “clean” even though they take more resources in the background to create and maintain that isn’t visible upfront

It's not about the size of the animal, and it's not a dumb idea. It's about sentience. I think we understand that large mammals are intelligent and sentient. They have strong reactions to pain, isolation and even grief. They have observed elephants grieving over their poached relatives, for example. I don't know that creatures like fish and insects have been observed to be as human-like, for lack of a better word.

not all mammals do though. the pigs in that video you can tell cared and were trying to help but I see other animals like gazelles that will simply pass by another gazelle that is dying or getting killed without a care. seems like some animals like pigs and elephants do, and many other mammals simply won't care unless it's their baby getting killed.

I don't know that I agree with that, I think people often see emotions they want to being expressed by animals that are not actually happening.

But if that is the case then the hog made his choice. You can see the others know better than to go that far out in the water.
