Just ensure this is unchecked.
[/img]https://i.imgur.com/MWnrpEm.png[/img]
Yeah, but I avoid it on principle.
The script works like a charm. Maybe too well even. What happens when you get negged by a user on your ignore list? Do you still see them in your CP or do you remain unaware until you turn script off?

Just hit it with the ol'
Code:var t0 = performance.now
// EnhancedIgnoreList
var t1 = performance.now
"Call to EnhancedIgnoreList took " + (t1 - t0) + " milliseconds."Really only seems to take ~2ms for the whole script each time so dunno that optimizing it matters that much.
Will take a look regardless since I've got nothing else going on this afternoon. Dunno that much about JS/web in general, but I assume umadbroski's comment is towards the excessive (?) query selector calls (querying for posts, then querying posts for username nodes, then querying those for authors)? Had figured the latter calls wouldn't matter much since they're dealing with smaller trees (?), but I'll try to confirm now.
If it's the quoted text bit... that may be more work/research.

So it's 2ms for processing a full thread page with lots of quotes from an ignored user?
The only piece I thought could potentially be expensive was where quotes are discovered from an ignored user, then we have to parse through to remove the text response. It's probably fine as-is tbh.

Just tried the above page, which has 28 quotes, with the script with post-deleting disabled so that it only focuses on inner contents of posts. Used an ignore list of everybody who was quoted.
Code:var ignoreList = ['Silencespeaks', 'Ratfish', 'Polaris', 'Austin317', 'DizzySmalls', 'FemaleWarriorxo', 'CremeFraicheBro', 'MinisterOfLust', 'nielk', 'ezmac31'];Ranged from 6-18ms on ~10 attempts, with ~10ms on average.
Dunno that this is an *absolute* worst case scenario, but figure it's pretty bad. Not opposed to fixing things up, but performance seems fine enough imo.

would it be relatively easy to filter out posts based on join date?
like, maybe it's hard to nuke reds, but could you have it where you could choose a value and that would be the number of months to go back in join date before you start seeing posts by someone? (i'm guessing most people would choose between 6 and 12)
