What it seems like is he probably was having trouble breathing hence why he said it. The arrest exasperated it, having covid, enlarged heart, fetanyl on his system did not help. And if he was arrested any other way, knee or no knee, he woulda ended up dead unless the ambulance got there sooner.
Is that murder? Should police let everyone go who says “I can’t breathe”? I honestly wouldn’t mind if they put that into the rules, Id at least know how to get out of an arrest in the future, would just like to know the rules.

Also it's a knee to the neck. Come on. Of course it restricted his breathing. It could have and likely did contribute to his death. And that's what the doctor said at the trial.

I'm positive the purpose wasn't murder.
I say I'm positive because if it was for the purpose of murder, he would have killed more people than George Floyd.
How many bodies does Chauvin have on his name?
He "served" for 19 years.
Find the bodies.

Oh wow. I know who my freebie is.
Anyway,
"Under cross-examination by Chauvin attorney Eric Nelson, Mercil testified that officers are trained to use their knee across a person's back or shoulder and employ their body weight to maintain control."
As I recall they weren't trained to knee necks. That was his own improv. And he improved his way to over 20 years.

The airway, he was saying he can’t breath before he was even on the ground.
So no, it did not restrict his breathing, at all.
But ******** sure does suppress it.
