Sorry to read about the buyer.
Why didnt your attorney insist ALL the money (as they were supposedly paying cash) be put in escrow for the house? They do this all the time, that way if something goes wrong the money is still there. They do it with deposits, etc....
The market will keep going up as long as the Fed does nothing with interest rates. The second they raise rates, watch out below. Both the stock market, commodities and housing is going to implode.
