We should've been using the last year to tell people to get healthy and not to be such fat asses.
It was tough to promote physical fitness last year when our nation's leader is a morbidly obese slob with bad eating habits.

That's hardly any.

I've gotten the flu three times in my life, the second time was in August. I got grilled by my Doctor when it happened, they were wondering where the hell I got it from.

It's pretty sound logic that many people who survived the past 18 months without a vaccine will now die because it's happening literally every day.

It's not very sound logic to contradict what is happening literally right now.

That’s just not true. A virus can mutate into a variant that is less deadly or more deadly to humans. There’s no reason it can’t do both.

I thought this a nice article on the Bloomberg article and its likely purpose, to help Democrats spend more money and cause more inflation.

https://www.billionairesportfolio.com/archives/7322

excerpt:

As we kick off earnings season this week, stocks are new record highs, again.
As we’ve discussed, these earnings numbers will be big. The positive surprises will be big.

And the inflation data we’ll see tomorrow, from the month of June, will likely be hot.

This, and the data that will follow over the coming weeks (from the second quarter), should all make clear that the Fed’s QE bazooka should be ended, immediately. And these data should make clear that there is no need for continued fiscal support: no more unemployment subsidies, no more direct payments, no more “stimulus” (which will next come packaged as a multi-trillion dollar spend on “infrastructure”).

However, to be sure, the Fed will continue doing what it’s doing. And the administration (with the help of an aligned Congress) will continue along it’s path of fiscal profligacy.

Why? The virus. The variant will give them plenty of justification to stay put on red alert/emergency policies. And the media will certainly stoke the uncertainty. We should see plenty of these headlines coming, like Bloomberg ran today: ” US Cases Soar.”

Let’s take a look at how that translates, with some perspective on the history of the past 16 months.

The CDC says the Delta variant was found in the United States in March. As you can see, the case trajectory from there, is lower.

And as you can see below, the trajectory of deaths, related to covid, has continued to decline.

Still, with all the above in mind, hot earnings and economic data, combined with the impetus to see fiscal and monetary policy to continue at full-throttle, we should have the recipe for even higher asset prices.

I took the Covid vaccine, and now all of a sudden I get a ton of rashes on my legs. Could be a coincidence (I may have started to get them before vaxxed), but I am now pretty pissed at myself for taking a vaccine that hasn't been FDA approved and properly tested (usually vaccines go through years of trials). I see a doctor later this week, so we will see what's going on.

I have a friend who has told me she also is regretting that she took an experimental vaccine.

I am a young healthy guy. There was no reason for me to take it. For older people, fat asses, and people with comorbidies? Yes, they should take it. Covid is deadly to them.

Capitulating to tyranny, no matter how well meaning or benign invites more tyranny. We're headed toward dangerous times. This cold isn't worth losing the very basic freedom we have-control over what we put into our bodies.

you said "usually vaccines go through years of trials"

you may want to do a bit of research into how phased clinical trials work (https://www.gsk.com/en-gb/research-a...-trial-phases/) and how normally those phases are carried out linearly (one after the other) but for covid they accelerated the process by doing those phases in parallel (all at the same time).

Odd that you equate a medical treatment intended to protect patients to a loss of freedom. That sounds like something an overly dramatic Karen would say. Did you ask to speak to the vaccination manager too?

I wonder how things changed from the days when the polio and measles vaccines were accepted without fear that it came with a side of tyranny? Maybe the rise of stupid people being given a voice via social media would you say?

Of death, like you are hoping for? Less than half a percent at worst.

That is generous though,as the delta variant is more contagious but less severe than the original strain that many of us already had.

I don't fear the vaccine. Mainly because I'm not getting it, but whatever. I'm bent that if I want to go to school I have to submit to injecting some schit in my body that morons like yourself think I shouldn't question. And when we do pipe up we are deleted, cancelled, or shouted down. Well fuk right off with your Karen bullschit. It's Karen's such as yourself that make it hard for everyone else to live their lives. Get your vaccine. Be happy when it works. Go sue the company when it doesn't. Oh, that's right you can't. Blood clot? Nerve damage? Some other random chit? Sorry bout that, you don't even get squat.
