Whatcha think
I'd run Williams and Thielen. I'm not sold on Barkley's health just yet and Denver's D is not where I expect him to break out.

I had like a 50 point lead in projections…the next minute Russell Wilson to Lockett for 69 yards, Chase 50 yard TD, Goedert TD. It's now even. Brutal

I had a 40 point lead projection now down to 10. Injuries and Jones not doing a thing. He has Lamar and Andrews left.

Goodnight sweet Prince.

2 leagues I still have a shot in:

Down 20 with Lamar left.
Up 27 but he's got Josh Jacob's and Darren Waller left in PPR.

Eh i think I’ll be ok. I may bet the raiders tonight to really rub salt in the wound if Lamar goes off.

It's looking like I'll be 3-1 for the week, but it depends on Waller. In 2 leagues, I have a roughly 35 point lead facing Waller, and in another I have a 20 point deficit with Waller vs Edwards, so there is a very thin tightrope I could walk with Waller ending up in the 30-ish range where I could win all four. I'd be perfectly happy with 3-1 though.

boy rodgers really eff'd everybody in fantasy yesterday eh.

real shame about jerry jeudy. he was off to a hot start. hopefully he's back around october/november.

random note but david montgomery looked like one of the best backs in the league last night. not many others can crash into aaron donald and beat him a few times.

Boom. Waller hit that 30-ish range (all full PPR) where I won all my games last night by less than 6. In the final one where I was playing Waller vs Edwards, I won by <1 point because they overturned the first TD in OT.

2-0 last week but I only care about 1. Autodraftedin the other and still beat the wife so that was satisfying. Lamars fumbles and Andrews being invisible won my week and $400 from taking the raiders at +4. Stressful but a fun game to watch.

Started out amazing in one league with Brady and Cooper on Thursday and it was all downhill from there. **** performances from A Jones, Ridlley, Mostert and Andrews all fuked me. Plus went up against the league high scorer. Some really great games week 1 but **** fantasy for me.

I think it's too early to burn your #1 on a RB that is in a crowded room unless you're desperate.

i know right. any other team/coach you'd think a kid who put up 100 yards on opening day while the starter was hurt would be worth grabbing. but it could very easily be sermon or hastey next week

Mostert is having season ending surgery. That changes the calculus a little.

I burned early#1 waivers twice .

One was Phillip Lindsay his rookie year, and the other was Justin Jefferson.

I was desperate at RB due to a bad draft so I had nothing to lose with Lindsay
With Jefferson I knew the talent was there, and again, I was needy AF at WR.

a bit. it does make me lean towards grabbing this kid.

another part of my reasoning is - who else would i even use it on? most of the big name backups are taken in this league (dame williams, tony pollard etc). this scenario where a starter goes down and someone performs well in his place only happens a couple times a year.

i think i'm now like….65/35 taking him

I don't believe Hasty will be a factor at all. Heard he was likely activated over Sermon because he plays special teams and Sermon doesn't.

How do you guys think the Ravens backfield will shake out? I have Williams in a couple leagues and I'm trying to dump. Concerned that this could turn into the Murray/Bell backfield since their experience might be more important than explosiveness.

I think Sermon will get it eventually. However, Shanny said Mitchell is ahead of him on the depth chart. IMO - it makes sense to be a bit more aggressive with the #1 waiver since you have all season to let it build back up. I'm going after him w/ the #2 waiver but then again, my team is decimated by injuries so I'm picking up everyone.

Do we like Sutton, Hamler or Patrick for Jeudy's volume?

First week had to run into a guy who had Hill AND Kelce on his team. 63 points with two players.

Plus Henry barely did anything for me and while Hunt got a TD he was barely used. Got shafted on my RB2 if that's the way he's going to be used for the season.

Also had Tampa Bay defense and actually got -3 points because they barely did anything.

Well boyos, I'm back this year after going 0-3 this week lol.

In one of my 9-team PPR leagues (2 RB, 3 WR, 2 FLEX) these are available

Mike Williams
Mitchell
Singletary

How should I order? League doesn't use rolling waivers so it doesn't matter on that end.

I have:

Dalvin
Chubb
Najee Harris
Swift

Lockett
Diontae johnson
M. Callaway
Aiyuk
Waddle
(Jeudy on IR)

I'm always 0-3 crew and always favor Chargers, but I think Mike Will is primed for a good week vs. Cowboys. Their offense is no joke, but their secondary sucks, they only have one good CB who will be on KA. Mike Will is the next prime target for what will probably be a shootout.

Ended up 0-4 in week 1. That Raiders/Ravens game did not end well.

Oh well, I'm trusting the system, rule of thumb is to never panic after week 1.

Good to know I'm not alone lmao.

Got Mike Williams and Singletary, so I'm glad about that.

Do y'all like Herbert over Dak this week? Seems like Dak is more hesitant to get yards on the ground from watching him last week.

you have them both? that would drive me crazy all year

herbert i guess has the better matchup so i'd lean him but barely. prescott is the heart and soul of that offense and the cowboys are going to need 30 a week to win anything. coin flip. i never would've drafted them both.

Big mistake on my part. Took Dak way too early and panicked. I've never drafted as poorly as I did this year. Used only Brett Kollman's rankings, which were fire last year and trash this year, so it's definitely on me. Also the reason I have Aiyuk, Sermon and OBJ in 2 leagues each which is killing me. Going to try to shop one of either Dak or Herbert to another team but no one will trade anybody in these leagues

I'd go Dak every week he is healthy. He torched the Bucs. I don't see any defenses stopping him.

I kind of agree with this. After watching Dak last week, I'd consider him an every week starter until he cools off a little. If he has another big game this weekend, trade him while his value is high.
