Anyone who thinks this isn't happening and claims fake is a ****ing idiot. It's clearly real, and I've seen it happen to friends much younger than OP, friends who were overweight.

Wonder why... the probability is evidently much worse if overweight, but wonder why otherwise fit/healthy people get those symptoms. Viral load?

well most of the replies are telling OP that he's delusional about thinking he's 'healthy', not that it isn't happening.

You misunderstand me friend. I have no doubt pneumonia is real, and people are dying from it. I don't believe COVID is real, or rather, I don't think the virus itself is a threat. What I would argue happened if you review this case, is that OP got streptococcal pneumonia, which causes the identical symptoms that doctors lie about the COVID virus causing (animal models did not prove it). He failed the antiviral treatments but then they gave him an antibiotic (antibacterial, does fukall against viruses), he magically recovered. Also question why doctors would eventually prescribe antibiotics (once again, antibacterial) for a virus?

So did he have pneumonia from COVID, or a bacteria that has been the cause of death of pneumonia for decades that causes IDENTICAL symptoms to "COVID complications"? And the dumb fuk OP didn't even ask what antibiotics they gave him, which is the most important part of this story.

I would have done the same thing but 6 straight days of a fever and not getting it checked out is a bad idea.

Being short of oxygen sounds like a ****e experience.

it is real, but vastly overblown. 85-90% of people that catch covid need no treatment beyond the same things you'd do for the flu.

Oh brother. A bunch of people that are pro-whatever the hell is going on are making gotcha style posts in here too. It's the misc.

Yes, good luck to the op in his recovery, it seems he's on the mend, but it is strange that antibiotics were what pulled him out of whatever he was in, and that ivermectin didn't help at all.

I do understand why people are skeptical and frustrated, in general, when a few months ago a million people piled on top of each other at lollapalooza and nothing happened, but now we're back to the sky is falling and two weeks to flatten the curve as we re-enter what would be the flu season, when people catch these sort of bugs. What happened to the op just happened almost verbatim to my vaccinated co-worker, so I'm not sure what the plan moving forward is if the vaccines clearly don't work, or possibly make things worse, and this is some sort of super mutation.

This, misc goes too extreme dismissing COVID it can definitely be a scary experience for anybody not in ideal shape at whatever age. My 56 year old dad basically went through the same thing and it was not fun.

well I went to the hospital last night to get that pain in my left arm checked out, turns out I have a superficial blood clot in my basilic vein in my left arm. doc thinks it's from my i.v. being in the same spot for 7 days. He told me it will go away on its own in a few weeks .

just a update. feeling alot better. able to walk around the house at a nornal pace and do the dishes and some normal house hold stuff. lifting anything over 10 pounds still takes alot out of me though . oxygen level is a little better and my blood clot in my arm is feeling better. I would say I get noticeably better everyday which is very encouraging.
