Thanks . I had steel ones before . The handles varied in length , so the weight was never accurate, so I just put stickers on them that was the total of the plates ,and didn’t include the handle.
These new ones are certainly a step up , and they don’t hurt when you support them on your legs as your getting them into position like my steel ones .

If I could do it all over again though , I’d just opt for urethane dumbbells no matter the cost .

Here’s a pic of my first set. If you look at the far right top it says 85 pounds , but the handle that holds five plates weights around six pounds , so their closer to a 90 pound dumbbell

Yes, don’t do anything I did. Srs I’m pretty much screwed , but I made my own bed .
I feel sorry for the future generations, as inflation is out of control . Can’t imagine how the hell people are going to own a home unless they inherit .

If I could back in time I’d tell my past self to invest early, and don’t waste a dime on vehicles and chasing sloots
