End stage of cognitive dissonance.

He was probably told his whole life how women like nice guys, being nice is a good thing, just be nice to women, they like a nice gentleman.

Because let's have it real society does lie to young men.

But it's like he couldn't come to that understanding, and instead he had to keep living in a reality where the "truth" couldn't be reconciled with what he kept seeing in front of him, and eventually he went crazy.

I'm a firm beliver that to stop the incel problem society needs to stop lying to young men about SMV and how women really operate.

People contradicted him that when they tried to be nice or friendly to him he cut them dead. Just think the guy had zero social skills or social graces.

I’ve read the majority of it. My degree was in forensic psych, so I found it extremely interesting. It’s quite unique to have such a clear window into the mind of a highly intelligent, yet mentally-ill young man. However, what was truly eye-opening was how relatable some of his struggles were for the average young male. He just took everything way too far.

Well said. Nice guys finish last. Just like how you are taught that if you go to work and work hard, do a good job, you'll get promoted and your pay increased. If you have a college degree employers will want to hire you and pay you more, and people will respect you. Pay more money for a degree you'll make more money. If you are nice to people they will be nice to you. ALL LIES!!!

Why? I have many friends from UCSB who landed good jobs. I stayed in the dorms there in 1994 and I loved that campus!

I would like to recommend UCSB to a family member.
