I feel the data everyone is posting is somewhat irrelevant. Covid has a %99.7 survival rate, barely 1% of people are adversely effected. We all know the vast majority of those being adversely effected are the bottom 1% in terms of health a co morbidties. In the big picture you are essentially arguing over fractions of percentage points

Maybe that's why they chose that as the start date for the cumulative data?

Was at my gf ex husbands parents house yesterday. 2 girls in the house are the only fully vaccinated and both have Covid for the second time. They are quite ill. No one else is sick. I started asking questions and of course they are mad. I’m not pro or con but that is strange to me. She also said a woman at her job didn’t want the vaccine but was forced to get it and died if a heart attack later that night and these idiots are still wanting the shots. Wondering if this is similar to having to use "flammable" for inflammable because people are ignorant.

If you do the math, it comes out roughly 28.3% reduction in Covid with the 2 vaxxes. Looks like a typo, otherwise a "negative" reduction would have an increase in cases for double vaxxed, would it not?

Ah, they describe the presented numbers:

"The estimated number of cases per day, rate and percentage are predicted 7-day midpoint averages based on the latest observed 7-day midpoint average of the number of cases per day and the latest observed 3-day average of R(t). The estimated number of deaths per day is based on the latest 7-day midpoint average.

The variants with N501Y mutation (N501Y+) include Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Omicron; the variants with E484K mutation (E484K+) include Beta and Gamma; Omicron is the most frequent N501Y+ variant in Ontario now. The variants without N501Y mutation (N501Y-) and without E484K mutation (E484K-) include Delta (B.1.617.2); the Wild Type was the most frequent N501Y-/E484K- variant until April 2021,

Delta is the most frequent N501Y-/E484K- variant in Ontario now.

The effective reproduction number R(t) corresponds to the average number of additional infections caused by 1 infection. An R(t) of greater than 1 indicates exponential growth. Change per week is the change as compared with 7 days previously. The doubling time is the estimated time required in days until the current number of cases doubles based on the latest observed 3-day average of R(t). The R(t) for Omicron and Delta are currently estimated assuming the same generation time.

Colour codes are adapted from Ontario’s original COVID-19 response framework: green – prevent; yellow – protect; orange – restrict; red – control."

My take is that the total is per 1 million people (hence stating that on that line) and there are more than 1 million vaccinated people and more than 1 million unvaccinated people.

So what does this mean? That people 13 days out from their 2nd dose having heart attacks are counted as unvaccinated?
The data is being manipulated before it's even officially recorded. This whole thing is a genocide.

Nothing is coherent in this debate lol.

That is why I've been trolling a lot of threads that have been centered around this, but I really went through this thread trying to understand the numbers.

I don't even know why people take the effort to argue about this anymore. Yea, the pro vax people are mentally ill. I get it.

The government just lies from sun up to sun down, and the whole scamdemic is manufactured, for the most part. It is incredible to think that somebody had Biden on television talking about a winter of death and suffering to put people into a state of fear.

I'm probably going to just ignore these types of threads going forward.
